This is really good range to take Will Johnson, Graham, or Tet. The way we ended the year I kinda see us as a .500 team. So to have a top 8 pick is a huge bonus as we'll add a day 1 impact starter to a .500 level talent team.

That to me is why I don't understand all the hate I get for taking this stance, it's not like we're some new franchise that has never gone through this before.  We've been doing it for YEARS, we win these meaningless late season games, a group of fans think it's the start of a turnaround of the franchise, but all it does is hurt our ability to draft better players and we rinse and repeat the next year.

I don't take joy in saying this stuff, but I just call it like I see it.  

Yes, Bryce played better the last 2 months, but there are still at least 20 QB's that I'd take over him in a heartbeat right now.  You're not going to ever contend in today's NFL with a QB who is outside the Top 20 in the league, it's just the way the game is played these days.

Getting excited about possible mediocrity just because we've been garbage for so long is now how you build a winning franchise, it's how you get stuck in NFL purgatory, and I'm sick of being stuck there.

Except the difference this year is we are beating teams with something to play for...

Anyone who is denying the improvement and transformation of Bryce Young has an axe to grind. 

I was a giant Bryce hater and thought he was a wasted pick midway through last season.

I can't be any more glad I was flat out wrong. We may finally have the QB position set. It's so much easier to build a playoff caliber team when you have a franchise QB.

Could we somehow get the heads of Ron, John Fox, and Jack Del Rio on the body of Dom Capers?

If we took Loveland anywhere near the Top 10 we have big problems.

Id really hate to take QB if we have pick 3-5. Especially after thinking Bryce was going to work out and this wasn't a need. 

Hopefully today was a blip and he looks good to close out year and maybe even gets one more win.

This upcoming draft is pretty deep at RB. Just take one with one of the 7 later picks we have to spell Chuba.

Pretty much this. Of all the injuries for a RB too, you took one with an ACL tear. Just insane. Especially when RB wasn't even in our Top 5 need positions. Maybe not even Top 10.
