Innocent or not, Miller will carry this event on his mind the rest of his life. I know I would. If Miller was head and shoulders above Scoot I could understand the pick with the baggage attached. He wasn't though. No idea how you compare Scoot and Miller and be ok with this pick. Mitch couldn't event articulate what attracted them to Miller so much, likely because he thought Scoot was better and was overruled by the biggest stooge in pro sports, Michael Jordan.

I'm not sure what this draft will be remebered as; either one pick away from landing Wemby or passing on Scoot for Jarrett Culver 2.0

This is exactly correct. You know it when you see it. Scoot has it and Miller doesn't. Toss in Millers baggage and it's one of the bigger blunders in a rich history of them.

It was a 3 player draft and we had the 3rd pick. Fortunately for us Warriors went Wisemen (who we wanted over Melo btw). We basically dumb lucked our way into Melo.

It's more me knowing talents like Scoot don't just land in your lap. Paired with the decades of incompetence this franchise has just makes things incredibly frustrating. Miller is a JAG with a checkered past and interviews like he's missing a screw.
