  1. I’d argue accountability is pretty important to one’s ability to improve as a player and mesh with the locker room/culture but to each their own
  2. We can do if this and that all day, I’m going by what is. Absolutely zero accountability
  3. I preferred Stroud but when it became obvious Bryce was the pick, I started coming around and made myself happy with either. I really thought if he could avoid getting hurt that he’d be just fine. WHOO boy, could not have been wrong. Sunday was Zach Wilson esque
  4. If he continues playing like he did Sunday I don’t see any way he makes it to the bye without being benched. theres a fine line between seeing what your guy has and absolutely torpedoing any and all team morale or buy in, and last Sundays performance was firmly in the “nothing good can be taken from this”. He should get more than one game this season to show if he can make any improvements, but it’ll be hard to give him too many weeks if he continues turning in performances that actively burn any remaining good will he has. I pretty much went from cautiously optimistic to “this season is fuged and Bryce is absolutely cooked” in less than 5 minutes on Sunday. Week one is notorious for over reactions but for the team to spend the entire offseason to put Bryce in a better situation and for him to come out and give his worst performance of his career by far is just….whoof. There’s bad, and then there’s whatever the fug that was
  5. Bryce was absolutely *the* problem yesterday. Miss after miss, interceptions, just rough. after that first pick I literally just started laughing (as I’m sure most of us did). Still nearly 4 quarters left of football but it was already written at that point.
  6. Really not understanding the Sanders hype, especially after that Nebraska game. Dude threw a pick 6 untouched, left the game early and then threw his OL under the bus in the press conference, like ????? did Colorodos line play well? No, but the dude is red flag galore.
  7. Have to disagree. I think one of the absolutes in football is that if your team needs a QB and you’re in a position to get a guy you believe in, you do it, regardless of the state of the rest of the team.
  8. As of today? Give me Ewers Would be fun to reunite him w Sanders and Brooks as well.
  9. Pretty much where I’m at. Wanted to give him a shot to prove people wrong this year but after today I have no faith and am pretty confident it will be more of the same. I would love to be proven wrong but man, that was just beyond dreadful
  10. Give me Ewers couldn’t be more out in Sanders after that Nebraska game
  11. Nflbite has done me solid for years as an out of state fan
  12. Good but not great, doesn’t help that the size of the shoes he had to fill were absolutely massive.
  13. Of course he’s talented, I just don’t see him remotely comparable to the types of prospects worth “tanking” for a la Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, TLaw, etc, though I’d never root for the team to lose regardless - Hasn’t struggled against good teams - Openly insulted a former team mate to the media - Only ever coached by his Dad. Never playing any meaningful football where the leader of the team isn’t your Dad is a red flag to me. -Comes across as caring more about padding his stats than than winning, holds on to the ball way too long -Average arm
  14. Am never going to root for this team to lose. and Sanders isn’t even the type of prospect you tank for, dude has all sorts of red flags. Hard pass.
  15. Been here since 2008. Definitely a shell of what it used to be. never thought I’d be nostalgic for a forum but maaaan do I miss the days of all pro, daily training camp reports and photos from zod, Jordan gross interviews, and seeing a lot of the same names here. It really was the best NFL fan forum around.
  16. Teams won’t care about what former and current team mates have to say about him? That’s news to me. yeah Cam had baggage but dude was always ride or die for the team and also had generational talent, which Sanders hasn’t shown caleb hasn’t even taken a snap yet so in your words that’s “irrelevant”. I’d be more willing to give sanders a pass/benefit of the doubt if he showed that he was by far *that* dude - but he hasn’t, and the fact that he acts like he has is a huge red flag for me.
  17. Lmao just because someone disagrees with you doesn’t mean theres a personal vendetta bro
  18. Want that dude nowhere near the team, dude is a bigger show boat than Cam but half the ability. And especially after not seeing what he had to say about a former team mate that criticized him(Sanders) for never making an effort to know him. Sanders went as far as far to tweet that he had no idea who the dude was and he had to have been “mid at best”. Bro your team finished 4-8, chill. good content for the timeline, but not what you want in a franchise QB. I fundamentally question his ability to face adversity most importantly, gel with the rest of an NFL locker room without his dad running the show. He seems like the type of dude to constantly give other teams ammunition, but never good enough to warrant it. would gladly take Travis hunter tho
  19. I’m not one of those people that think Brooks is too small, but in fairness to our boy Stew, the man hasn’t taken a snap in over 6 years. Brooks is taller but Stewart was/is built like a tank
