  1. Dude has a ton of potential. Plus he has a cool ass name. I'm happy with it.
  2. I could see Torrence and Drew Sanders being possibilities as well.
  3. He’s not physical and doesn’t do well when having to contest for a catch, and while his speed is his greatest asset, he also takes some time to accelerate and get up to that speed. And most of all, to me at least - So, so many of his big plays are where he’s WIDE open and not a defender within 5 yards, not because he’s some ridiculous route runner but because he gets essentially free releases so often because of the scheme they run in Tennessee. I think he’ll have a really hard time against physical corners. He just makes me think of guys like Mecole Hardman and Ted Ginn - he’s a threat to take the top off, but that’s really it
  4. Would gladly take him over Hyatt. Agree to disagree.
  5. Of those three give me Torrence and protect Bryce. If we pick a WR, I hope we take one later like Scott/Mingo/Mims or AT Perry. Not crazy about Hyatt. Dudes a burner but takes a bit to get up to speed and lacks physicality/contested catch ability.
  6. Would be ecstatic with any of the following. would be happiest w a Sanders/Ojulari or OL to help keep up front stout for Bryce. EDGE BJ Ojulari Drew Sanders Keion White Derick Hall CB Kelee Ringo DJ Turner Joey Porter Jr Cam Smith WR Josh Downs Jalin Hyatt Jonathan Mingo OL O’Cyrus Torrence Steve Avila John Michael Schmitz TE Darnell Washington Luke Musgrave Sam LaPorta Michael Mayer
  7. Everybody went to Bryce’s birthday party.
  8. He plays for Boston dude. Guess how many yards Steve Smith had his final year at Utah? 743. I would argue the comparison is actually pretty spot on. Look at their combine profiles - they're basically the same size and have very similar combine profiles. Zay's 5'9 but plays way bigger than he is. The guys an absolute dog and flashes elite route running ability. I think Baltimore got a good one.
  9. zay flowers is going to be a fuging stud. was kinda hoping we'd trade up for him.
  10. Are you kidding? Mac had one of the most stacked Alabama offenses. He had DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Najee Harris, John Metchie, and was behind a way better line that had Evan Neal, Landon Dickerson, and Alex Leatherwood. While leatherwood has been trending bust, not one of Young’s linemen is going to be an early day pick. Literally the only other person on Alabama 2022 offense that’s going to go early is Gibbs. Bryce lost all the best weapons on his team from 21 to 22 and still carried his team, put up numbers, and came in clutch. Mac was throwing to multiple first round receivers behind multiple first round offensive linemen. Cmon man.
  11. First Round: Pick 1: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama Second Round: Pick 39: BJ Ojulari, EDGE, LSU Third Round: Pick 93: Jonathan Mingo, WR, Ole Miss Fourth Round: Pick 114: Kyu Blu Kelly, CB, Stanford Fourth Round: Pick 132: Andrew Vorhees, OL, USC Fifth Round: Pick 145: Cameron Latu, TE, Alabama
  12. You could absolutely tell he knew he misspoke too lol. Good catch edit* ok you can’t really tell that at all my bad. it’s probably just the devils lettuce. I’m celebrating early
  13. Just saw this interview that looks like happened just earlier today. Scott is asked what he likes about each of the top 4, and he lights up so much when he starts talking about Bryce compared to the others; he talks about what he "likes" about the others, but what he "loves" about Bryce. Think it's about as obvious as it can be at this point without outright just announcing the pick.
  14. That’s now Cam and Smitty, two of the greatest panthers of all time, on the board for Bryce. gonna be a lot of upset stroud and AR fans tomorrow (and the one or two Levi’s fans, wherever they are) I for one could not be more excited for Bryce to usher in a new era of panthers football.
  15. At this point I’m not sure if I’m more excited for the pick to be announced or the ensuing nuclear meltdown rippadon is gonna have when it’s Young lmao.
  16. Lol dude, your dislike of Bryce almost feels personal, honestly a little weird. I’ll be happy with any of Bryce/Stroud/AR and will cheer them on trust the staff regardless. But man, if we pick Bryce and he goes on to have a successful career, you better be ready to eat that crow.
  17. Ah yes, now that I think about it, I’m just now remembering all your threads the last two years begging for everyone to think of the safety of PJ Walker. Thank god you weren’t in the war room in 01 or Smitty would have never donned the black and blue.
  18. Only delusion I’m seeing here is your irrational hatred for Bryce. the “eye test” isn’t about size and never has been. Bryce absolutely passes the “eye test” with flaming colors, He’s just undersized. If you were to hide Bryce from the all 22, you’d have absolutely no idea he is the size he is, because the dude balls. But ultimately size, eye test, etc. doesn’t mean poo if you don’t have the intangibles for the position see: Jamarcus Russell Ryan Mallett Malik Willis Josh Rosen Sam Darnold Zach Wilson Ryan Leaf i actually do like AR and Stroud as well and honestly would not be upset with any of them, but “looking the part” is far from everything. Especially from a position as mentally demanding as QB.
  19. “Who would they pick in the schoolyard if they never watched any of them play football?” is not the argument you think it is. This is the same logic that got Russell picked 1st overall in 2007 I do have concerns about Bryce’s size, it’s natural to, but I think if he can stay healthy the dude will absolutely ball out.
  20. I disagree. I think the addition of bell will allow Chinn to play more of a joker/hybrid role and stay in the box where he shines best.
  21. Would love either of these. Started the process favoring Stroud but have come around to Young the last few weeks. I'll be excited either way. I doubt Kincaid or Sanders are available for 39 but would be ecstatic about either.
  22. Bruh this is the second time you’ve posted this, no one cares.
