  1. Same. Was refreshing to hear him say it’s his responsibility to be absolutely critical of what they put in tape and acknowledge that he said Bryce was still the QB before watching film and that after he did, Andy straight up gives us the better chance to win. No bullshit and straight to the point.
  2. While unlikely, after seeing his face after that INT yesterday I honestly wouldn’t be surprised
  3. Never seen a player openly look so upset and in over their head after that interception yesterday. Hes never had top tools but the regression has honestly been astounding
  4. The biggest tell to me was his reaction after that interception that was the face of a man who knows he’s in over his head and *desperate* for something to go well, anything. His confidence is completely and absolutely gone. Spent an offseason retooling for him and he somehow managed to regress and come out with the yips. It’s so over lol.
  5. I’d argue accountability is pretty important to one’s ability to improve as a player and mesh with the locker room/culture but to each their own
  6. We can do if this and that all day, I’m going by what is. Absolutely zero accountability
  7. I preferred Stroud but when it became obvious Bryce was the pick, I started coming around and made myself happy with either. I really thought if he could avoid getting hurt that he’d be just fine. WHOO boy, could not have been wrong. Sunday was Zach Wilson esque
  8. If he continues playing like he did Sunday I don’t see any way he makes it to the bye without being benched. theres a fine line between seeing what your guy has and absolutely torpedoing any and all team morale or buy in, and last Sundays performance was firmly in the “nothing good can be taken from this”. He should get more than one game this season to show if he can make any improvements, but it’ll be hard to give him too many weeks if he continues turning in performances that actively burn any remaining good will he has. I pretty much went from cautiously optimistic to “this season is fuged and Bryce is absolutely cooked” in less than 5 minutes on Sunday. Week one is notorious for over reactions but for the team to spend the entire offseason to put Bryce in a better situation and for him to come out and give his worst performance of his career by far is just….whoof. There’s bad, and then there’s whatever the fug that was
  9. Bryce was absolutely *the* problem yesterday. Miss after miss, interceptions, just rough. after that first pick I literally just started laughing (as I’m sure most of us did). Still nearly 4 quarters left of football but it was already written at that point.
  10. Really not understanding the Sanders hype, especially after that Nebraska game. Dude threw a pick 6 untouched, left the game early and then threw his OL under the bus in the press conference, like ????? did Colorodos line play well? No, but the dude is red flag galore.
  11. Have to disagree. I think one of the absolutes in football is that if your team needs a QB and you’re in a position to get a guy you believe in, you do it, regardless of the state of the rest of the team.
  12. As of today? Give me Ewers Would be fun to reunite him w Sanders and Brooks as well.
  13. Pretty much where I’m at. Wanted to give him a shot to prove people wrong this year but after today I have no faith and am pretty confident it will be more of the same. I would love to be proven wrong but man, that was just beyond dreadful
  14. Give me Ewers couldn’t be more out in Sanders after that Nebraska game
  15. Nflbite has done me solid for years as an out of state fan
  16. Good but not great, doesn’t help that the size of the shoes he had to fill were absolutely massive.
  17. Of course he’s talented, I just don’t see him remotely comparable to the types of prospects worth “tanking” for a la Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, TLaw, etc, though I’d never root for the team to lose regardless - Hasn’t struggled against good teams - Openly insulted a former team mate to the media - Only ever coached by his Dad. Never playing any meaningful football where the leader of the team isn’t your Dad is a red flag to me. -Comes across as caring more about padding his stats than than winning, holds on to the ball way too long -Average arm
  18. Am never going to root for this team to lose. and Sanders isn’t even the type of prospect you tank for, dude has all sorts of red flags. Hard pass.
  19. Been here since 2008. Definitely a shell of what it used to be. never thought I’d be nostalgic for a forum but maaaan do I miss the days of all pro, daily training camp reports and photos from zod, Jordan gross interviews, and seeing a lot of the same names here. It really was the best NFL fan forum around.
