We need three DL with their hands in the dirt if we are to stop the run. See the alignment below. It is two DTs and the OLBs for a 4 down front. This is a four man front and it makes zero sense. We ran it all last year. Again it is a junk defense that is destined to fail. They have drafted players for a 3-4, not a 4-3 and the alignment gives way to easy running lanes. Our defense will continue to look terrible until we make a change. I don't care if its scheme or Coordinator, but something must change.

I am not a huge fan of the 3-4, but if you are going to run it run the 3-4. This nonsense that Evero does where its two down lineman and what is supposed to be our OLBs standing up over OTs is a 4-3! If we do not have Bobby Brown at nose, DB and AShawn at tackles with our OLBs standing up, we will continued to get gashed on the ground like last year. His gimmick defense is going to get us killed again having 250 to 270lb LBs trying to anchor our run defense is on par with Phil Snow schemes.

There is going to be some growing pains, but with Dave scheming his plays up, teams are going to have trouble with this offense. In the Cleveland game you were playing against a team who practiced with you, against these vanilla plays, and looked better because of it. I'm all for intensity but guys need to can it. It was a routine hit and he didn't hit him hard enough to hurt him, just hard enough to knock him on his arse. I cannot stand them. They are winning the division repeatedly now only because we are failing to put a decent product on the field. As we slowly become relevant again, this division is wide open. Baker Mayfield does not deserve to be handed a division trophy every year due solely to the ineptitude of the other teams in the division. I also hate that Lavonte David gets to play a seemingly twenty year career and we only got a blink of an eye with Luke.

The Panthers are not cutting Jimmy Horn. With all of the options they have for roster construction now, plus what he brings to the table, he is here this year.

Moore can be put in one of the vet spots on IR. No one will be checking for him at the start of the season. But I would be very perturbed if we tried to go all Gettlemagic and stash an obvious talent like Horn on practice squad like we did Butker. If we can get through this year, next year it will be obvious Moore and AT will be gone, starting namely with AT's contract.

XL is becoming a media darling because he is different. Once upon a time, everyone had a different story worth exploring. Nowadays we get carbon copies of the same guys who parents made them specialists as little boys. You know the ones who carry themselves and answer questions like robots. He is different and has lived a life people on the national stage aren't familiar with and women are always game for an accent. He is even being featured in new NFL Network commercials just like another dude that drove the ladies crazy(CMAC). I was at a football party once, they were showing the commercial where all of the former and current greats were going after the football. As soon as CMAC came on screen literally every woman at the party screamed GO Christian! He has unwittingly tapped into the NFL advertising machine, much like Travis Kelce. All the he better produce posts make me laugh. The kid played last year on a hurt foot. Drops weren't a problem in college and according to reports he looks much faster after foot surgery. The kid was buck nekkid wide open a lot last year on a bum foot, and was asked to do quite a bit for a rookie. Let's just root for the kid and hope he excels on the field this year.

To me, their only lack now is during training camp they post about 70 pics a day without posting the name of the players in the pictures. A pic of seven OL standing around wouldn't warrant such, but when its three or less guys, it helps to connect to the players. The roster is ever changing and people are constantly changing numbers. They did do this in the past and just quit one year. It really used to help me connect to players when I was younger.
