And at one time you were banning people for saying the All Pro section was a short sighted move during training camp. Now you're hardly on here period. Life comes at ya fast. Two of my closest friends that are huge Panther fans got banned back then. They never got alts, but still ask how much has changed since 2015. I am like you would never believe who are the respected posters now and who you never see anymore. It baffles me sometimes.

He was soooooooo left handed though! That was a big deal. I remember him constantly offering it to Cam after a sack to help him up.
-
I wish Tepper would listen to the players and change back to grass. Take a small percentage of your gazillion dollar budget and just maintain the grass. A lot of these freak lower extremities turf injuries across the league would be solved overnight.

Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?

I 2nd. -
Sanders got his numbers last year with low usage. Eagles fans bellyached over the fact that they left so many yards on the field not using him enough. I remember in the championship, he basically stood on the sideline after an impactful first quarter. We got a running back with great talent who did not have a high usage rate scheduled to work here one year after age 30 and we could cut him before that for next to nothing. Annnnnnd please stop acting like CMC is the greatest RB to put on a uniform. Injury prone and still on some would/could if he stays healthy.

Anyone ever own a jersey of an infamous player?
NorthTryon replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I tried on a Jason Peter jersey on once in Sports memorabilia store. The only jerseys they had were Peter, Collins, and Tim B. Peters was the only one that wasn't extra medium. My pops a Cowboys fan, just shook his head at me in disappointment. Him being a UNC alum, was still pissed the Panthers took Peter over Vonnie Holliday. -
2023 Charlotte Hornets Summer League
NorthTryon replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Hornets
See post below and literally learn about basketball. I understand that the Hornets/Bobcats have made some horrible decisions over the years, but a knowledgeable fan should still not go off the rails over a hype train and You Tube highlights. After two summer league games this is what is going on with the team and Brandon Miller. In addition, you cannot possibly say the kid flat out isn't it based off of what you saw unless you know nothing about ball, which you're showing doubts. They are literally running up the court and shooting without even passing the ball around. Last game Matt Barnes' dumbass kept talking about Miller not being aggressive enough. He would literally have to get the rebound or have the ball passed in to him and go one on five every possession. That is silly thinking and nobody else is doing that in summer league. Again, Miller's stats are similar to Chet in OKC and he's getting rave reviews. If you are going to be overtly negative just cause it's a Hornets player or team move, seriously go to the Nuggets board. This weekend we'll see what Scoot does, because last time he played against NBA rookies/sophomore talent in an All-Star game format he looked overwhelmed and struggled. -
Uh oh, insider information. I hadn't heard that. Also, please stop referring to Scoot, can't shoot Henderson as a generational talent. I cannot believe how many people bought into that hype train. HIs handlers did do a fantastic job though at getting everyone to look past horrible shooting and turnovers from the point guard position. I wish the kid no ill will, but his shooting has to improve dramatically. Maybe until then, he can just run past everyone and dunk it every time.

Baker is already in mid-season form at Bucs OTAs
NorthTryon replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nope, they are based out of Cleveland and he just had the gig because he was their QB1. Once he left, arrivederci to that endorsement. He was mad cause he wanted to do a "moving out" commercial and they were like nah, we're good. He talked about it at his introductory press conference here say they "missed an opportunity". -
I feel that. I'm starting to get there. I'd say the craft scene has gotten way out of hand! One issue is the snobs who claim they aren't snobs.
-
Thank you Cpt. Obvious! I am not saying that Moore is Diggs. What I am saying is people don't need to write off Fields because he finally has NFL players at skill positions as opposed to absolutely nothing. When Josh Allen had no talent around him, he was throwing across his body to his FB for interceptions on 3rd and 12. Amazing what a new OC and some talent at the skills positions did for him.
-
As long as he surpasses CMC in availability, that will overshadow the differences in other ability that he doesn't. Sanders is really good at pass blocking, catching out of the backfield, and reading blocks. Unlike CMC, he was the starting RB on a NFC Championship team. The one thing that CMC really has over him is that he can line up in the slot and beat CBs which isn't needed with a good WR group.
-
Well that's what everyone thought about Josh Allen and then he got some weapons.
-
Hahahahahahahahaha!!! The proof is in the pudding man, which is why no less than ten other fans in this thread have said he was a bad teammate. I get you're a SS super fan, but nobody is perfect and these are things that will always be discussed in regards to his career in Carolina. Like I said in my first post, it is good he is now willing to work with young, up and coming WRs for the Panthers.
-
Yeah, that's why I said stay focused earlier. I never said anything to the tune of his on the field play. SS was a bad teammate and stifled the maturation of every WR we drafted. He almost disabled one teammate in a film study for asking to see a play again and then sucker punched another teammate at practice. Then he tried to be a punk and not work with Cam which resulted in his dismissal. Other posters are bringing these points up, but you keep quoting me. Since you think beating up teammates for trying to study film and sucker punching teammates for playing well against you in practice then I have three words. Grow up Son!
-
Man, I know the BIlls have talent at WR, but this kind of speed doesn't grow on trees. Didn't even make it past year one.
-
Nah, nobody needs to be a bad teammate.
-
For real and he kept going to insignificant replays during the broadcast to the tune of missing actual game snaps. I would be like if they don't get this Madden wannabe out of here with his telestrator crap!
-
I'm not disputing that, so stay focused. I was a huge SS fan on the field, but some of the stuff he did off the field was detrimental to the development of other WRs during his tenure.
-
Yep, Brady and Bill's preparedness plus that weak division will never be replicated for that long of a time. They had nearly 20 years of division ineptitude that almost guaranteed 5 or more wins and a division title every year. I each year maybe one team out of the four would get a win, but that was about it. Then everyone would have to go to Foxboro in January in the playoffs.
-
No, I mean sucker punching players in meetings who simply asked to review certain plays in film study and on the practice field while taking a knee. Literally the only WR who they were willing to pair with him for success was Moose. I mean not wanting to work with the new franchise QB in 2011(According to Greg Olsen via A Football Life), ultimately resulting in the Panthers moving on to make it Cam and Luke's team. That's what I meant by sawed off.
-
It is really amazing and cool how he has become so accommodating and willing to work with young WRs after retirement. He used to be so sawed off back in the day.
