  1. Yeah, exciting to be a little ahead of schedule and playoff berth, but it hits you come draft time.
  2. Is Chanel that much better than Roseboom? His stats are comparable and there is a projected big market for his services.
  3. Hill Jr. from Texas is really good, has good measurables, causes turnovers, plays the run well, and would be an enormous get in the 2nd.
  4. Still can't believe Fox didn't give Firefly a second season, different time slot, something to give it a shot at success.
  5. And it was so evident in the preseason this year he was cooked. It is hard to believe in practice he was doing things to make them think hey this guy can get us a win or two if needed. Insert face palm emoticon.
  6. I will never be able to get that out of my head now! Aka "Kadoosh".
  7. I definitely hear you there. I think that also had a lot to do with the drop off in QB play across the league. It has gotten worse and worse due to college coaches not really preparing kids to play at the next level anymore. They are just doing what they need to do to get wins. Who would've thought Matt Stafford would have this resurgence? Teams are holding on to old QBs now . They would've been a playoff team in the Cam year if so many players hadn't foregone the season and Cam didn't get covid. Then they made the playoffs in Mackorkle's first year. Then the great fall off began and that was due to his GM resume. Belichick definitely didn't have the greatest track record as a GM.
  8. When people mentioned reasonable deals for a player in his position, you started talking about him holding out. What would he be holding out for? That's it, top league wideout money. Because that is what's next after Shaheed and the mid-level contracts that people suggested. To which you again replied about holding out. I jokingly sent a friend the video of Coker's dad dancing in the stands during the playoff game talking about how negotiations are going to be difficult. In actuality, they're not at all. And he's not going to hold out or he's going to get embarrassed.
  9. Ummm, so who was the talent when Brady was winning with Bryce young stats at the first of his career? Their first playoff run, his only TD pass was in the S. Bowl and he threw for less than 150yds. They beat the Rams in his last S. Bowl win with New England and he didn't even throw a touchdown. He did throw a pick though. I don't know where this stupid narrative came from and I heartily dislike Belicheat, but you can't dismiss him. They had a system, Brady embraced it and was a giant piece, but he had a good coach and some good teams around him.
  10. Yes I was, but there are several posts including yours that he should or will hold out if not offered top league wide out money. I just inserted a WR name we can all recognize.
  11. This is what I was thinking while reading the original post. He is going to get a very team friendly deal for three years at the most. This thread was teeming with posts like we are going to have to pay him Tee HIggins money or he's gone.
  12. A ILB that big who can cover, blitz well, and go sideline to sideline. Those are the guys that go undrafted and end up a pro bowler when they finally get their chance at age 26. And the guy has a nasty attitude on the field. He'd be a great ST addition as well.
  13. His stat line was 2 TOT, 1 solo. And they gave up 153yds rushing. Yeah, I was watching the right guy.
  14. No, go back and watch the OSU Miami game. And as a football fan, you do know getting blocked completely out of the play means you don't get a chance to miss a tackle right? He is a freak athlete, but doesn't do well in sifting through blocking and stopping the run. Maybe he can get better at that. Yes I have seen him wreak havoc sideline to sideline, blitz well on passing downs, come up and tackle in coverage, but getting off blocks in the hole is a weakness. Early in the 2nd quarter he had his hands on his hips and it was downhill from there. I tuned into the game to watch him and Reese on defense.
  15. And Dallas can have him. Something about Miami just running straight at him over and over to a victory doesn't sit well with me. It reminds me of the Minnesota vs. Dallas game last year where Minnesota ran downhill at Parsons the whole game effectively taking him out of the game. We need another ILB leader and I believe that is CJ Allen out of Georgia. I would look to take one of the Miami OLBs who were coached by a HOF OLB in Taylor at 19 and get Allen in the 2nd.
  16. Cool, I also look at the fact that he was a leader at both schools, was never injured, and both teams were highly competitive!
  17. You are the 3rd person I've heard talk about Coogan. I looked him up and in addition to your case, he is apparently a great leader, locker room guy, and majors in the best ability which is availability! They are talking about solid depth piece in the draft, but Jeff Saturday had a horrible draft grade and played 10+ years.
  18. There are multiple plays where he runs past coverage or takes the top off a defense and our QB cannot or will not make the throw. Its like the play in Atlanta never happened at all. He runs right past the CB with speed and catches a well thrown ball. I have seen several fans on other platforms say he would eat with a QB like Cam. Cam isn't our QB anymore and XL and Bryce aren't on the same page. Maybe you do move on, but acting like a kid is a bust when your QB is turning in 54 yard passing games and your coach has to augment a huge chunk of his playbook to accommodate the QB's limitations is weird to me. People got their panties in a bunch because they don't have evidence of XL spending 14 hours a day on football. Hell, even Luke went fishing. And the social media stuff is a generational thing. TMAC has an active social media account. I think its lame, but a person could do both.
  19. For this to be the year of development, Princely really didn't get many snaps. And yes, I would hate to be a ten sack college player and ride the pine while QBs sat in the pocket all day to carve up my team. That's just competitiveness. I get the frustration.
  20. Especially when you are watching film and see that your scheming WRs open is working while simultaneously seeing your QB struggle to get it done.
  21. That is my gripe. Ladd would struggle here too with our QB limitations. He is playing with Warren Moon, with Joe Gibbs as coach, compared to what our WRs deal with. People will say this in another thread and then immediately come back to flip out in a Legette thread. I've seen XL be open haven taken the top off a two high safety look and there is just no way that Bryce can or will make that throw. The same people still talking about Ladd should might as well keep bringing up Stroud. Moreso than him being this brainless moron, I feel like there is no place for XL here with this QB. His 90yds in the Atlanta game and his small sample size of play with Dalton proves the guy isn't useless. A lot of things would look a lot different for a lot of people in our organization if the signal caller was different. Since it isn't, XL is just one more thing for guys to be mad at.
  22. Coker has really stepped up to draw as much positivity for himself out of our current QB's limitations. When you are only getting six or less targets a game, it is imperative you catch them all. XL has dropped some passes, so has TMAC. Coker has not. Putting their production side by side is meaningless as TMAC cannibalized most of the 100-150 yds per game that Bryce doles out. One of the few games Bryce had more than 150yds passing, what do you know, XL has 90yds receiving and a touchdown. I'll say it again, throwing away a 1st round pick, acting like you know the kid doesn't want to play football, and has a low IQ is ridiculous while simultaneously talking about QB up grades/trash play in other threads.
