  1. That is why I pay them zero attention when they log in and are like who are we hating on today. Look through a thread and parrot the same shite that has been posted for five pages. If you don't know who Gipson was, what the hell were you doing during the game last year?
  2. There are several good OTs in the draft with pro bowl player comps. And their projected availability coupled with the BPAs available around them will make them the smarter draft pick. We signed Phillips and Lloyd, so we can get the best tackle available on the board at 19. People who wanted safety or TE there would be horrible GMs. You have some franchise tackles in this draft and because of all the athletic freaks like Styles, they will be available. In conclusion, the BPA at 19 would be Blake Miller, Caleb Lomu, Spencer Fano, or Kadyn Proctor.
  3. People must have someone in their crosshairs to be considered real fans. Someone on the roster must be the one to carry the brunt of the criticism and that is currently XL. He literally is going into year three on a rookie contract, with a still mediocre QB, and people want him cut or traded. He is extremely physically gifted, had some big moments, struggled as well, but we shouldn't give him a chance to make the next step. We literally had games where our QB threw for a whopping 54 yards, and people are yelling bye XL over a bottom roster WR move who we are clearly just kicking the tires on here. Boy, that accent and awe shucks nature must really piss people off. Or maybe they are mad because he isn't Jamar Chase out of the gate. Either way, it is weird how quickly the hate and general dislike has ratcheted up for this guy this quickly.
  4. I say trade back later in the 1st round if someone wants to come up and get someone falling. Pick Blake Miller with that pick, who people are comparing to Lane Johnson. Go LB next, either the Stache or Hill. Then go C, S, or Edge in the third.
  5. This is my take. Everyone dumps on Canales' playcalling, but when you watch the All22 you see players running wide open and there are plays that the QB isn't or can't make. People can't be that obtuse to think that we are running crowded route trees within twenty five yards because Canales has no imagination. Right? Idzik has looked less than mediocre in preseason action at the helm, but he hasn't had anything to work with at QB outside a few drives with Bryce. Dalton is cooked and Jack whatever his name was didn't give us anything worth a d*mn. Bevell was a good addition and fingers crossed this is successful.
  6. If he would have gotten open against Philly at the end of the game, I believe he would make that catch. But a lot of McConkey's production can be contributed to the fact that he has a big arm QB with size. He catches a lot of passes over the middle. He is often thrown open when he doesn't have a ton of separation. Lastly, his coach doesn't have to limit the combination of patterns that the WR group can run because of the arm limitations of his QB. It's like I have said in regards to the Seattle game this year. Nobody is producing if the QB is only throwing for 54 yards.
  7. Many won't say it out loud, but they would rather have McConkey so bad they'd be willing to take that chance in retrospect. But, I think we still would have drafted TMac, because the passing game would still have been sputtering with Bryce at the helm. He was benched in what would have Ladd's rookie year. Maybe like XL, Ladd would've produced with Dalton after we got rid of Diontae. Seems like you would still pull the trigger though on TMac the next year.
  8. You are overgeneralizing talking about every Panther WR that didn't make it. Calling the guy an idiot is lazy and assuming. And I said it wasn't worth bringing up real points because people like you would be lazy and generalize like a scorned woman. Thanks for not disappointing. He and Coker came into the league the same year. Who was producing in the Seattle game when we passed for 54yds? That's not excuses, but facts. In the playoff game, he smoked a corner off the line of scrimmage just like the Atlanta game and Bryce didn't go to him. I don't consider it an excuse if the QB doesn't look your way or limits your opportunities. Like I said earlier, TMac and Coker are better at making chicken salad out of chicken shite. Don't act like you haven't seen the passes thrown that require extreme contortion or athleticism like jumping five feet in the air to catch. Also, they said in the video he could stand to get closer with Bryce. TMac and Coker have better relationships on and off the field with Bryce. That matters, anyone who has played sports knows that. I said he needs to hear Cam and that means strengthening the relationship with the QB your organization has now.
  9. Yeah, check it out and see what you find. He had less drops than T-Mac this year. He was healthier than Coker for a good bit of the year. And to your earlier post, there were several plays where Bryce missed T-Mac or Coker, threw behind them, or made routine passes more difficult. I agree, they do make chicken salad out of chicken shite much better than XL. And the blocking with poor effort, who was at WR when we were running all over teams this year? Again, my hope is that our 1st round WR gets to the point that he can help us consistently.
  10. Naw, don't say anything about that. The pitchforks are out. He is too country, or dumb, or whatever at this point for any real conversation to be had with any Huddlers. Inconsistent QB play would have nothing to do with a WR's performance. Cam says in the interview he went to Greg Olsen, not the other way around. Olsen let him know when he was open, where to pick spots, and when to make tight throws. Everyone picks a player to dump on and XL is in the crosshairs. Also, it is hilarious how people are always said to be so tired of the same canned, rehearsed, and polished answers during interviews. Then when anyone interviews any different here comes the public relations team. Cam put him up on some true game. Hopefully he absorbs it and uses it to become a WR that helps us consistently.
  11. Keek the Geek! Maybe the greatest player to take film study and apply to the field. Great honor for a great player, teammate, and human!
  12. Panthers vs. Redskins August 9, 2003 to be exact.
  13. I mean, we beat Green Bay last year. The Lions stay with a lot of injuries. Bengals, Browns, and Steelers shouldn't scare anyone. Vikings are going to have to figure out their QB situation. We will have to dominate the division, and we were in every game in that regard this year. So that leaves Seahawks, Bears, Ravens, and Broncos as the teams I would be very worried about. Brutal schedule on paper, but definitely not the murder's row you all are making it out to be. And that's before free agency or the draft.
  14. Yeah, exciting to be a little ahead of schedule and playoff berth, but it hits you come draft time.
  15. Is Chanel that much better than Roseboom? His stats are comparable and there is a projected big market for his services.
  16. Hill Jr. from Texas is really good, has good measurables, causes turnovers, plays the run well, and would be an enormous get in the 2nd.
  17. Still can't believe Fox didn't give Firefly a second season, different time slot, something to give it a shot at success.
  18. And it was so evident in the preseason this year he was cooked. It is hard to believe in practice he was doing things to make them think hey this guy can get us a win or two if needed. Insert face palm emoticon.
  19. I will never be able to get that out of my head now! Aka "Kadoosh".
  20. I definitely hear you there. I think that also had a lot to do with the drop off in QB play across the league. It has gotten worse and worse due to college coaches not really preparing kids to play at the next level anymore. They are just doing what they need to do to get wins. Who would've thought Matt Stafford would have this resurgence? Teams are holding on to old QBs now . They would've been a playoff team in the Cam year if so many players hadn't foregone the season and Cam didn't get covid. Then they made the playoffs in Mackorkle's first year. Then the great fall off began and that was due to his GM resume. Belichick definitely didn't have the greatest track record as a GM.
  21. When people mentioned reasonable deals for a player in his position, you started talking about him holding out. What would he be holding out for? That's it, top league wideout money. Because that is what's next after Shaheed and the mid-level contracts that people suggested. To which you again replied about holding out. I jokingly sent a friend the video of Coker's dad dancing in the stands during the playoff game talking about how negotiations are going to be difficult. In actuality, they're not at all. And he's not going to hold out or he's going to get embarrassed.
  22. Ummm, so who was the talent when Brady was winning with Bryce young stats at the first of his career? Their first playoff run, his only TD pass was in the S. Bowl and he threw for less than 150yds. They beat the Rams in his last S. Bowl win with New England and he didn't even throw a touchdown. He did throw a pick though. I don't know where this stupid narrative came from and I heartily dislike Belicheat, but you can't dismiss him. They had a system, Brady embraced it and was a giant piece, but he had a good coach and some good teams around him.
