  1. Oh I know, and it seems that the entire team felt this way. Once they seen the tape it was undeniable!
  2. I watched a lot of Texans games last year because I like pain. Now though I just stay tuned into Panther football just to see if they become the next Browns. There is excitement maybe once every two years.
  3. We won the turnover battle and still got pummeled. Defense is going to play harder based off the thought of competent QB play alone.
  4. We won the turnover battle and lost by 23 because Mr. Young couldn't get the ball out. Things are going to look very different with even a hint of competent QB play.
  5. Had to be done, couldn't see open WRs, bailed out of a clean pocket multiple times, missed gimme throws, and that play where he held the ball and got blasted on the sideline instead of throwing was just awful. Super processor my fanny!
  6. I don't feel sorry for him, he knew the situation he was stepping into
  7. That is what Carroll did in Seattle to shield Russ from the ire of the defense. It produced some serious issues and till this day Sherman and those guys do not like Russell Wilson.
  8. Yeah, if anyone took the parlays of the individual Saints players against us Sunday they really cleaned up.
  9. He is not the biggest, and he doesn't have the strongest arm, but he's slow.
  10. He really looks like he is in Disney movie or a Rookie of the Year type situation out there. When are the angels showing up or the injury that makes him formidable going to happen?
  11. Luvu is a JAG and was on track to be a journeyman special teams player until we had to play him last year. He made some plays, but also struggled at times. Compare him with a TD, Witherspoon, Beason, Luke, or Morgan and you see what I am talking about. We are just used to having no talent lately and so we pine over guys like Luvu when we've seen way better. I will not discount his passion and energy, but he was a part of the meah defense from last year ala one of the best players on a bad team. I am happy he got paid.
  12. Same, only mistake he made to me was he needed to sit down in the zone on the drop so that he could've been able to make the catch while not moving. Also, get those hands up.
  13. Coker was this year's camp hero, Zod/Igo used to have them every year and every year they got cut. This kid runs great routes and has great hands. His father says the plan is for him to be back on the practice squad tomorrow. But it is not going to hurt us or come back to bite us, because in the end he is a slow, UDFA who needs to adjust to the change in talent level. He wouldn't get significant minutes for anyone in the league as is.
  14. I don't think so. Most of that stuff comes as a counter punch. I get what you're saying though. I remember when Joe Brady was here, he would call roll out after roll out and I was like dude there is no counter there. This is predictable as hell and defenses treated it as such.
  15. I did go a bit hard, but think about. What starting free safety can't stop on a dime in the NFL, especially when they haven't made their break on the ball yet? Canales has been stressing for him to take his shots down the field, but a WR running a deep post, and a safety 6/7 yds away already in the area where the throw would go to would make an easy play. That is why he struggled to come up and make the play on Thielen because he looked to be taking away that deep option. My thing was the play design caused him to have to make a decision that was going to give up a completion either way.
  16. Well, I expected some relax, its not that serious posts. First some players bloom later. Look at James Harrison and Cameron Wake. Secondly, did you see the QB room the guy's first few years at SC? Furthermore, I get the drafting negativity as the Rhule/Fitterer years left this team so devoid of talent it was scary. People aren't willing to even give Morgan a shot, much like John Lynch who was a broadcaster before becoming the architect of the San Francisco juggernaut. The guy knows football players, he just has the stink of Fitterer on him. Lastly, you saying my post is identical to Mingo and TMJ is exactly my point. There weren't a bunch of people basically alluding to them as busts after preseason last year or TMJ's rookie year. That is lame to do so after training camp and three preseason games, two of which the guy didn't even play.
  17. Hey sometimes its the KISS formula! Norv Turner once said everyone thinks I'm a genius play caller, but literally it's a hat on a hat and give it Emmitt.
  18. The biggest losers of the new collective bargaining agreement with the new practice schedules were lineman. Two a day practices really helped them with the number of reps and ability to hone their craft. Zavala was so behind physically cause the play he collapsed in Atlanta was so routine that it showed how clearly outmatched he was physically.
  19. Nah, people are just dumb. They are already labeling Legette a bust or saying he's giving them bust vibes. @PNW_PantherMan, dude we might need to get cooking on those "I was the first to say we were gonna suck" t-shirts!
  20. He had a bunch of yards and hit on some things for the casuals. He threw way behind Legette on a wide open crosser causing the same casuals to dump on Legette. I feel sorry for any WR not named Legette, Thielen, or Johnson that was trying to get evaluated this preseason.
  21. The entire line is going to look better, because they get to be aggressive down hill instead of that zone crap! There seem to be a lot of old school line technique in Canales offense. I have seen double teams, backside help, and old fashioned lead/overload concepts that I haven't seen since 03 Henning years. It really is easier and more suited to help OL excel. Look for a bounce back year from Ickey!
  22. And that's really all you can ask for as a fan. I saw some semblance of competence and that has been missing since 2018-19 save part of the Wilks stretch.
