  1. @CRAThe thing is that it is Cam hate because it didn't need to be said. That is a media take and why we listen to former players so much hoping that they don't give the same take as someone on Facebook. Cam said it wasn't about him and this is still Steve's take. @Darvinsun it seems like he is sour because he is sour. Regardless of what happens throughout the rest of the season, that was a story book return against the Cardinals. It was an in season storybook return home that Steve never got to or never will experience. If you listen to Greg Olsen on Steve's A Football Life episode, Steve didn't want to deal with Cam from day one. Then he was jettisoned to remove his negativity for it to be Cam and Luke's team. Steve would have never been as good in his probably "Hall of Fame" career if he would've been the guy to "let things go" or engage in "it is what it is" talk. He still harbors some ill feelings towards Cam. Hey you see he's still hating on WRs drafted by the Carolina Panthers and that has been his modus operandi since 05. The first and only positive thing I have heard him say about a WR we drafted was his take when DJ Moore was drafted.
  2. Hahahahahahahaahahahahaha! This one always is great to me cause it's like somewhere there is a cool adult that let that kid get everybody hype. And the little girl had to get up out her seat cause it was too much of party to remain seated!
  3. Exactly, and the same thing happened with Steve Smith in the playoff game against San Francisco. Steve could barely run with a bad knee and wouldn't come out of the game. It was Ron's job to take him out! So Cam had to operate against a top 3 league defense with Olsen, Lafell, and a hobbled Smith. That was a game we didn't have to lose. He really is on that Bears 85 shite! The thing is like you pointed out he was blessed with a talent 10x better than Jim Mcmahon. And he never fielded a defense that good. The only pass I give Ron is that he wanted Norv Turner first and couldn't get him. But the bullshit he put Cam through was insane. I mean benching him for not wearing a tie! What is this prep basketball away games? Rhule was scared of having a personality that big too, and now is discovering how easy having a hardworking veteran presence really makes your job easier! A lot of Panther fans, and basically the rest of the country really listened to what I call the "Bullshit Cam Narrative" from the media and Ron never helped that.
  4. I would say Shaq too for most improved. He went form being almost lost at times to super consistent and sometimes dominant. Dante was just an arrogant kid who wanted to gamble and consistently ended up out of position. He's come around on that and plays where he put. And wow on the run support as he not only is he tackling, but he's popping pads! Now that he has settled and operating within this system he looks payable especially if this will be the system going forward.
  5. I know, I was just addressing dude being like but you're a mod. That had me dying laughing. "Remember you asked for this".
  6. Is this Rhule's first chess move since coming to the league? Cam is even giving his ass confidence!
  7. And that franchise/organization had nothing but glowing reviews about him when asked.
  8. There is a huge difference because the majority here were even keeled with a wait and see attitude. You had a few who rode hard for Darnold, and some like myself who were angry about bringing in Darnold with no back up plan. We critiqued as things got uglier. Then some threads started popping up mentioning Cam and other options. People went berserk trashing Cam in those threads and were borderline a lot of things in their presentation. Level headed posters now get to be wait and see with Cam just like others were with Darnold. But the ones that went all in saying Cam was done, can't run, can't throw, selfish, and made fun of his attire are getting told about themselves. Especially the ones who ask for it. If you are a level headed poster, don't ride for a out and out Cam hater cause they are getting what they deserve.
  9. These kinds of great posts always get looked over, but I see you! Their offense is a Lamborghini this year with the weapons compared to the old beat up rusted out Datsun they drove last year.
  10. And because he is a mod he can use dude's terrible posting history to shut him down. People calling names or what they call personal attacks isn't really what ruins this board. It is the shite posting and switching up people do to fit the current narrative. Literally a huge chunk of posters have disappeared that were here super involved just a month ago. They were all saying Cam was absolutely worthless and all the man had to do was get healthy. They acted like Sam Darnold was the best thing since sliced bread. I admire Catsfan69 for still being here, but he was flat out wrong and way out of line with his posts before about the most important player in franchise history. So, @LinvilleGorge brought it to his front porch and called him out for his bum posting. And then hit him with examples. I got way more respect for that than other Huddle heavy hitters ala Mr. Scot that act like people aren't even worth debating because they don't have 40k post counts. Lastly, Cam wasn't on decline last time we saw him. He was injured. Carolina jettisoned him instead of letting him heal up. In the meantime it has been a huge diarrhea blowout of QB play here with no plan. Sorry if people that were super happy with losing as long as Cam wasn't the QB have to eat a little humble pie stuffed with crow now.
  11. I am not talking about the questioning. That is fine. Up until he came and scored those two touchdowns Sunday they were saying he was absolutely finished. This is to quell the trolls, rednecks, those lacking football knowledge because the level headed fans such as yourself understand already. Also, Cam got hurt trying to make a tackle against San Diego on interception and with the TJ Watt hit. That is what impacts his throwing shoulder more than any impact from running ever has.
  12. Well my thing is when Rhule was inked, all I kept hearing was how he was going to bring this revolutionary, next level, and otherworldly rehabilitation program of which Tepper was going to bankroll. My thought was well why wouldn't you want to try out this program on one of the most genetically gifted humans on the planet. I seen Drew Brees shoulder in the middle of his back next to his spine his last game as a Charger. He then went on to have a new career in New Orleans and lasted a decade or more longer. But Cam was and is completely done according to everybody. I haven't heard anything else about it since. And maybe it will be encompassed in the new facility, but the team still has state of the art facilities in Bank of America.
  13. Yeah, but Ron has had Bruce's number every time they have ever played. Tampa barely got past them last year in the playoffs as it was just too much Brady experience versus Heineke's playing above his head. The time before that, Rivera's team won 49-7.
  14. Try to hit him with a little something now. We'll have all the cap room once we get these Cam replacement QB contracts off the books!
  15. And it was instant as evidenced by he and DJ riding with Cam to practice last week. Cam "I got my dawgs with me". During the we hate Robby craze here, there were a few of us that felt like this. Robby finally got out of there, has a 1000yd season and then boom reunited and it feels so bad! I just want to say helluva post! I was so pissed off around here when everybody was hating on Robby! And nobody wanted to hear this, Mr. Scot was talking that I'm a such a football connoisseur garbage, you all just hate Sam Darnold, and you all think it is cool to be the first one to say I told you so. Well hot dammit we told you so! Darnold was and is garbage truck juice and the demeanor of the team has turned a 180!
  16. Say it again! Create a new thread! Every piece of this is absolutely one hundred percent truth!
  17. Pie for je ne sais quoi! But, Sam was a cancer in the aspect that he sucked all the life out of the offense, then the defense. Then players attitudes started to be negative due to his play in particular. Cam repeatedly said it wasn't about him after the game, but the energy was insane compared to even 3-0.
  18. This right here. Cam said that he was eating a bowl of cereal at the time of last night's press conference the week prior. It may not seem to it like us, but developing timing even on deep throws is huge!
  19. I mean he is essentially a rookie! The o-line didn't even give up one single sack! Wow, it's amazing what competent QB play can do for an offensive line!
  20. Hahahahahahaha! It wasn't like that. This when everybody was shitting on Robbie Anderson week. You were one of the only ones to listen and come with a maybe Darnold is the issue explanation. Everybody else was still on that Darnold train at the time. I know you used to it being derogatory shots, but this was a definitely a "yo this what you and I was talking about moment".
