Smith Sr. & Zierlein discuss their top 10 WRs
NorthTryon replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ross had a bad Carfax report coming out of college, but Brown and D. Jackson just don't make sense. I mean fast guys who run away from people constantly being out for hamstring issues seems so avoidable if they take care of their bodies. Other than injuries before the draft, its a tossup. -
Jersey numbers for new arrivals announced
NorthTryon replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I remember barbers who said they were die-hard fans coming into a facility I worked at being super angry that we cut Deangelo Williams 2 years before we moved on from him. I let them have a 45 minute conversation before I shut it down with facts. -
I just give props to you guys for knowing that this is when Cam hurt his shoulder the worst. So many Panthers and non Panthers' fans say it was the TJ Watt hit that did Cam in just when he got rolling with Norv at the helm or the fact that he ran too much. This play was the play that started it all with our too often inept coaching and surgery staff. I believe had this play not happened, the TJ Watt hit would've been routine hit with soreness and rehab. Even so, Chad Pennington got resigned after obliterating his shoulder and he started with a noodle arm. Drew Brees' shoulder was literally smashed to the middle of his upper back and even though there were many doubters, he got to rehab and have an entire second career with New Orleans. Cam was quickly ushered out of the league.

Didn't even think twice about it for that money, especially the unmatched idea of bringing in grass from NC and SC counties. And counter it by look how many opportunities we've brought due to concerts.

I remember a game against Atlanta. They were putting up crazy numbers because nobody could cover Tony Gonzales. Early in the game, they ran a deep TE post and Luke ran the route for Tony and Ryan threw the ball on a dime on this particular timing route to a streaking Luke in the middle of the field. Keek the football geek! We were all witnesses....

And with all the misses and way off the map predictions every year, he is met with the accountability of a booger eating 2nd grader.

Gettleman also had a lot to do with that with his love for certain types of players. The coaching staff wanted Devante Adams and Stephon Diggs. He drafted bums. He also wouldn't pay a few more million for Ted Ginn and Josh Norman. There are so many what ifs from that time that turned a potential 7-8 year championship window into 2-3 years.

Hahahaahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahaha!

Ain't that the truth! The biggest drop off in play across the board is due to lack of reps for OL throughout training camp. Their technique and conditioning are way off. I feel like guys hardly have any chance anymore to work on their game with practice reps anymore.

REPORT: Chase Young visiting Panthers
NorthTryon replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
You better get out of here with that logic! Everybody should know that Chase Young is still coming back to !00% from his knee surgery. Washington had a fire sell to save money, and we seen the BS in capital letters of what happened in San Fran. Also, nobody is talking about how Bosa took basically half the season to get into shape only playing hard on passing downs! The great white hypes though never get questioned about effort or that stupid dawg shite! -
Plus, they were implementing the scheme a week before the season started. Then it changed again and again throughout the year. Thanks for adding another layer of context to these asinine posts!

Well Morgan played with good d-lineman, and they had attributes that the tweeners we jettisoned didn't have. He played with Jenkins, a moving deep freezer who also could push the pocket, Peppers, a mutant, Buckner, a poor man's Warren Sapp, and Rucker who never quit with Al Wallace off the pine. We have gotten used to these bums that Rhule and to an extent Ron on his way out saddled us with and this overhaul has been long overdue. I feel like we will be much prouder of this team and its effort in the next few years. Sometimes you have to go scorched earth, just as long as you don't salt it.

We all know Urlacher was overrated! I used to get so excited when we played them in the playoffs because on paper I knew Urlacher was their great defender and we always came away with a win. There are a bunch of plays where he looked terrible including Bettis running over him at the goal line. He was rated the number one overrated player by his fellow NFLers year in and year out. I am glad that he is a HOF though, because that means for sure Keek is going to get in too.

Yeah, noticed you had to edit your post. Luke getting juked by ten year old! Don't be silly. I am not going to take time to make a video of Luvu's struggle plays, but that was a clear example. Thanks for being predictable and using the words cherry picked.

I want to get back to the point where we are drafting best player available and in those cases, that's what we did as an organization. Also, Will Witherspoon, James Anderson, those guys were not first rounders, and like them if Luvu wants top tier OLB cripple the salary cap money, peace and blessing to him.

RJ wasn't a no show, they literally had the game plan to take him out of the equation. There were several plays that he had three or more players jumping at him. Instead of forcing it like we hated Caleb for doing the last two years, he trusted his teammates. He still scored some timely buckets. Mando still had 9 and 8 which again I am glad UNC didn't stall the offense forcing him the ball. Unlike last year, they kept it moving around the perimeter to get good shots. It was a great team win and as a fan I have ultimate confidence that it is a team instead of a bunch of individuals like it has been.

The funny thing is that Kraft and former Patriot players pushed for Belicheat to draft, then play McCorkle(Yes that's his full real name) Jones over going into the season with one Cam Newton. BB pushed against it then and said he did not want to go the rookie route, which ultimately led to his demise in New England as well as the water being poured on the embers of Cam's career.

Jeremy Fowler: Panthers to go after QB Drew Lock
NorthTryon replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
At least we will own the 1st round draft pick for the following year to take advantage of another dismal season. -
In the effort of keeping the Bozeman energy going, losing Luvu is not that big of a deal. I don't know how we got to the point of being such choosy fans on a case by case basis. But the linebackers that we have had in the past including our current GM, Luvu is not on that level. Cool hair, cool tattoos, good attitude, but if he wants a bunch of money we are okay with moving on from him. We have had and seen better.

This the problem with the salaries. Bosa didn't deserve his salary and that will drive up other ones as well including our resident underachiever Mr. Burns.

Boom! Some guys just get the shaft and Wilks has over the last couple of seasons. The people that see it any other way are a bunch of fun dummies who base their argument off the fact he was beat by the winningest QB in NFL history with a secondary that needed a body so bad they signed a barista the week before they played. Never mind the competitive revival that happened to even make that game relevant.

Shanahan called timeout because they were in press cover 0 with a blitz dialed up. He in fact wanted to do something else. Romo called it out on the broadcast.
