Panthers add wide receiver
Davidson Deac II replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't really care if we sign someone like him as a Camp Body, but a domestic abuse allegation is a little more problematic. -
We use facebook to communicate with distant family. I found something called social fixer which allows me to filter out political and religious nonsense.

Russell Okung on Dave Canales:
Davidson Deac II replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Brady (and fwiw, most great qb's) was at his best under pressure. He didn't get rattled, and was probably more accurate than earlier in the game. IMO, that is what separates the adequate guys from the all time greats. In that regard, he was a Superman. Same with Mahomes and Montana. -
Imo, it depends on how many kids you have. If two or less, I don't think Minivan vs SUV matters. Best to get the safest with an eye on price. 3 or more, and a Minivan might be best.

Who needs a million dollars? Apparently, nobody

I was responding to the individual who said a million wouldn't last very long. -

Those things that they don't cover, Medicare doesn't cover either. So I am not sure what your point is. Like I said, if you are saying the Medicare program itself needs to be overhauled, I might agree. But Medicare advantage is better than plain Medicare. -

Its expensive, no doubt. And a big concern. But I think you are exaggerating a little. My wife works at one of the high end retirement homes and the cost is about 8000 per month and is all inclusive (food, most medicine, in house medical care). Of course, the cost may be higher in other areas. If you start out with a million when you move in, it would last about 10 years for one person, or 5 years for two. A more average facility in the area we live is around 5 grand a month. -
I don't think the Jets owner has a ring. Or does it count if the team won the SB when you were 8 years old.

Vikings draft pick dies in car crash

That would depend on the law/requirements in the state of conviction. At that point, I would think that mandatory sentencing should kick in. -

The person that hit them was traveling at a high rate of speed, and might have been drinking. -

REPORT: Martavis Bryant has had contact with Panthers

I strongly disagree. Not every receiver needs to get yards after catch or catch a lot of deep throws. Sometimes you need guys that get open and make clutch catches. Thielen isn't a deep threat , but that doesn't mean he is washed. He could and should play a role similar to that of Jericho Cotchery or Ricky Proehl during their time here. The issue last year was we didn't have a Steve Smith or even a Ted Ginn to pair him with, and didn't have a passing game that could get it to those guys if they were open for longer passes.

Your comment is ludicrous.

The Panthers have a true magician on the team
Davidson Deac II replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Thomas does have a breakout year, it says more about our past teams/staffs than about Canales. -
Maybe he should go and I don't mind going with the new kid, but his only clutch miss last year was a single 60 yarder. And if memory serves, he only had three situations that would be defined as clutch kicks, and he made two of them. And he was actually 5 of 7 from 50 plus with a 54 and a 56 yarder. He was definitely in the top half of the NFL in terms of long range kicks. His kicking was probably one of the few decent spots on the team last year.

It's interesting how these threads go. There is not a single word from the team or tepper about moving the team. It's just an assumption by the author, and yet Tepper is getting blasted for something he actually hasn't said. Unless something more concrete comes out, this isjust the authors opinion with no basis in fact.

If you don't have Medicare part b (the one that cost $170 per month, Medicare won't cover things like ambulance service, wheel chairs, some prescription medication, diabetes supplies, therapy and counseling etc.... One trip in an ambulance could cost as much as $1200 If you believe that Medicare and indeed all health and health insurance should be redesigned, I agree with you. But as far as what is available right now, at this point in time, in my opinion, (based on working with my mom for 15 years now dealing with straight Medicare, Medicare part b, part d, and medicare advantage plans), Medicare advantage is far and away the easiest and cheapest to deal with. -
Probably the best all around baseball player ever. Great fielder, great hitter who could hit for power and average, and a real threat to steal.
