  1. He helps his oline look better by getting the ball out so fast.
  2. You have to admit though that some of Smith's antics were pretty funny and entertaining. Sword fighting in the Buc's end zone, pretending to row a boat (I think that was vikings and buccaneers), and of course, the infamous ice up son. Smith was a sports reporter's dream.
  3. Its money that has already been paid. If dead cap hits disappeared upon a player's retirement, the system would be easy to take advantage of. Want to pay Drew Brees 30 million to play an additional season? Just pay him up front knowing he will retire the following year, spread the cap hit out over a few years, then when he retires, the cap hit/dead money would disappear.
  4. I agree, but I was primarily looking at next year. Hopefully, the extra cap space or a new draft will help us address the oline issues next year. And maybe some of our draft picks from this year will be good enough to make the oline less of an issue.
  5. Our dead money for next year should look better as well. We could be in a good position next year, if Darnold works out. That is a big if of course.
  6. If Mac Jones works out, Bill B looks like a genius. If not, his legacy might end up being, he won because he had Tom Brady.
  7. That is a big part of it. For the little local place I go to, I notice they always set their price a couple of cents lower than the big Sheetz gas station down the road, in order to get people to stop, and maybe come by and buy a few of the 2 dollar snacks inside.
  8. I am surprised by this. But I do think Cam will catch on somewhere, probably as a backup to a team that is a contender.
  9. It doesn't appear that the storm will have much of an impact on prices. Colonial restarted its pipelines today, and prices actually dropped two cents today at the station I normally use.
  10. Gasoline has a relatively short shelf life of 3-6 months. You might want to use it now.
  11. Colonial expects to restart full operations today.
  12. If we don't show much offensive improvement this year, the interviews will dry up.
  13. Understood, but the odds of getting someone for the practice squad with some real upside at this point is only slightly better than me winning the lottery.
  14. CMC will help, but I think until we see what the Oline can do, the main thing will be to get the ball out fast.
  15. I guess it would be 18 out of the last twenty or so. In fairness though, almost half of the had Tom Brady in them, so it does skew the results a bit.
  16. As far as Walker on the practice squad, to what end is obvious. If we need to bring our third string qb off the practice squad at some point, he is at least familiar with the system, and might give us a outside shot at winning if we just need him for a game or two. Of course, if we need him for more than two games, the season is probably shot anyway.
  17. On all three throws, he had a clean pocket. I just hope we can give him a lot of clean pockets this year.
  18. Personally, I enjoyed his commentary. But he is cold hearted at times.
  19. I don't remember enough of the assistants to really give an opinion. I will just go with Seifert. As far as worst player, if we are talking as a human being, the wide receiver who shall not be named.
  20. Don't know, we had some pretty bad drafts over the years. 97, we did get Minter who was good for us, and Mangum who had a decent career. But our first rounder that year was he whose name cannot be mentioned. And 98 was awful.
