  1. Sam's arm s better than Cam's right now? At this moment?
  2. I am glad they signed him. But the sad thing is that including Cam's contract, Darnold's salary and Teddy B's dead money, we have about 31 million tied up in three qb's, only one of which can actually be on the field.
  3. Whether Cam is the answer depends on what the question is. If the question is, who is the best option we could get right now at QB, then Cam is the answer.
  4. Most qb classes suck. I think last years draft is going to end up being mostly bust, with maybe 1 or 2 of the top five ending up being decent to good. We only need one of them to be good, assuming the staff admits their failures and actually decides to draft one.
  5. There is a chance that we will be sitting at home this year watching Bridgewater in the playoffs, so I seriously doubt he wants to come back. I would have preferred keeping him for a year, and drafting Jones or Fields, let them sit, learn, and spend our next offseason rebuilding the oline.
  6. He probably had input on the baffling qb decisions made over the last couple of years.
  7. I don't agree. On two of the three interceptions, Sam could have done something different. On the first one, had a receiver open, and threw it behind him. On the third one, he just made a horrible choice when he wasn't close to being sacked. He has some arm talent, but he makes bad decisions, and has since season one of his NFL career. We could put the best oline in football in front of him, and t wouldn't matter.
  8. If he doesn't get benched now, not sure what else it will take. That was almost as bad as the pick 6.
  9. I think its safe to say at this point that the Sam Darnold experiment has been a failure.
  10. I don't disagree, he is in a better situation. Just saying that he doesn't appear to make a lot of dumb throws. Which imo is just as critical as throwing td's. Fwiw, his td to int ration is on par with Brady's in TB's first full year as a starter with NE. Brady finished his first season with 18 td's and 12 int's.
  11. On the other hand, Bill B is under 500 for his career when Tom Brady is not his qb, so there is that.
  12. Td's and not turning the ball over, (as turnovers can lead to easy td's for the other team). The Patriots as a team have more td's than any other team that starts a rookie qb.
  13. Yes, but I would let him sit for a year and play Darnold in the interim. Well, actually with hindsight, I would have kept Bridgewater for another year, play him while jones sits.
  14. I don't know, I kind of want to buy a Reddick Jersey now. In fact, I wouldn't mind if it had shut up and watch written on it. Not really, but as they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
  15. If I were a professional athlete, movie star, politician, or any other famous person, I would stay away from Social Media. To many armchair quarterbacks, political nuts, or obsessed fans who think they can say what they want and trash people because of the relative anonymity of it and the fact that they pay your salary. I pay the salary of the waitress at a restaurant, doesn't give me the right call her trash because she got the order wrong.
  16. Not really defending PJ, but lots of very bad quarterbacks have had draft picks used on them. Including some who shouldn't have ever been drafted.
  17. If we win, it will be because our defense plays a great game and the offense doesn't turn the ball over.
  18. He is going to end up playing for the Steelers/Ravens/Bengals. And torching the Browns.
  19. He threw the ball 34 times in that game and actually had a decent completion percentage. But I think that unless we fall behind by a couple of scores, we won't be seeing 34 passing attempts in this one.
  20. I don't think we know about Darnold yet. But if I were a betting man, I would say that PJ is going to be the starter.
  21. Depends on the laws of the state. I don't know what Nevada's laws are, but I do believe he will do some time. This one will have to much notoriety not to.
  22. Definitely true. Many intoxicated people just aren't thinking clearly. Doesn't excuse what they did, but expecting them to behave rationally is a waste of time. Best thing to do if you are going to be drinking is leave the car at home to begin with.
  23. Didn't see the other thread, feel free to delete.
  24. Is Trubisky an upgrade over anyone on the Washington roster right now?
