Reilly will go from being the coach of the most popular team in Oklahoma, to being less popular than the Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, and probably the Soccer club. Maybe less pressure from the local media is a positive for him.

Only slightly. And its also probably a harder job now. College football is king in Oklahoma, but its just not as popular West of the Rockies as it once was. I would venture a guess that soccer will eventually eclipse College football in the Los Angeles area in both attendance and ratings.

Fwiw, I don't think its just Brady. Its Rhule and Brady. But Brady probably gets the axe first. Our defense has gotten better. Its not dominant, but they do play well enough to win 10-11 game this year. But the offense and special teams have regressed. Can't catch, can't throw, can't block, and can't punt.

IMO, if Rhule is not gone, Brady will be. So who might our new offensive coordinator be? If its some college guy, I won't be buying any tickets next year.

I hope Cam gets better, but Rhule tied his fate to Sam Darnold, and it might end up meaning he gets fired after this season is over. Meanwhile Mac Jones might end up being rookie of the year.

That was more due to their choice. They were abusing us in the run game in the first half as well, they just chose to run more in the second half.

New Orleans sucks to. They were ok before famous Jameis went out, but they have lost to two of the three NFC east teams they have played. They also lost to us and the Falcons. Tampa is the only decent team in the division at this point, although that could change.

NFC East is stronger than our own division.

All this crap about Cam being brought in to sell tickets is just noise. Because of PSL's, the tickets are already sold. The Panthers don't get any extra money from ticket resales. They do sell some extra concessions of course, but given there were only three home games left when we resigned Cam, the money isn't that much. Our qb play this year has been horrible. It wasn't going to get better. Cam is a dramatic improvement even if he isn't his old self. That was obvious against Washington. And Tepper wants to win now. That is why we signed Cam. Everything else is just noise.

The narrative that Ron intentionally lost to us last year to screw up our draft position is amusing. Silly, but amusing. This year, his offensive line dominated our defensive line. That is hardly playing us. Its what 99.9% of football coaches try to do. He is a football coach, not Emperor Palpatine.
