  1. I think Notre Dame right now is better than Texas.
  2. We would have a lot of dead money if we move on from Moton.
  3. What might we expect in the way of comp picks.
  4. I am more interested in his efficiency and cutting down on the turnovers. The Dallas game was bad, mainly because they were getting pressure straight up the middle, but other than that, after his benching, he threw the ball well, and gave us a chance to score. The offense as a whole became more productive when Bryce came back. In truth, I felt the New Orleans game was one of his most impressive games as a starter. The stats don't look as great, but he threw well under pressure. And took us into Saints territory three times during the second half. 86 Yard drive for a td and 59 yard drive for a td. Chuba ran it in for both td's, but Bryce played very well in getting us there. And the third time was a interception when Bryce made a fantastic throw, and XL had the ball ripped out of his hands by the defender. Have to admit that was the first time in Bryce's time with Carolina that I felt positive about Bryce.
  5. Didn't say that, just saying making the pro-bowl one time doesn't mean much to me.
  6. I agree. What I like most about Bryce is that he has played some of his best ball during crunch time. By the end of the season, I felt like if he had the ball in his hands in a close game, we had a good shot at winning. And that is what the great qb's do. I felt the same way about Cam from 2013-2017. That being said, he has to prove he can get better, and play well consistently, just like anyone else.
  7. Well, Mitch Trubisky got in the ProBowl, so I personally don't care about that.
  8. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2024/passing_advanced.htm There is a column for balls batted down at or behind the los. FYI, Baker Mayfield still gets a lot of them batted down. He had 20 last year. I think that was highest in the league.
  9. If Vrabel is a hot commodity, no way he goes to New Orleans I think. He would want to go to someone with a young talented qb, so it seems either Chicago or New England would be a more desired target.
  10. I will never understand the "he didn't beat x team" mantra. Wins and losses are a team stat, not an individual stat.
  11. I said Penix seems to be. He made some great plays. He made some not so great ones. To small of a sample size to be sure though. But if I were a Falcon fan, I would be hopeful at least. Did they keep Morris or was he a new hire? I thought they hired him after firing Smith in Jan of last year. Might be misremembering though.
  12. Don't think we can afford him. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Cowboy land, if they can swing it cap wise.
  13. Raheem probably gets a reprieve because Penix seems to be a good qb. The Falcons seem to be in the same boat as us, the offensive pieces are set, just need to upgrade the defense.
  14. Yeah, but I wonder if that means he is just a yes man. The Giants are keeping Daboll. That surprises me more than any other move or non move.
  15. I think there is going to be significant turnover defensively in the offseason. So I doubt anyone they would hire, will be coaching "this set".
  16. Fwiw, I am glad the Panthers won't be taking him. Don't want the drama that would be associated with taking Sanders junior. But in fairness, its never a given that any draft pick will be a good decision.
  17. Its almost a given that Sanders will go in the top 10. Probably top five.
  18. This means Vikings vs Tampa next week I think. The battle of the former Panther qb's.
  19. He might leave. Doubt he goes to Jacksonville though.
  20. Vikings should have kicked the field goal. Lions have owned them in the Red Zone to much to take that risk.
  21. That is why I said relatively limited. We might make one splash signing and that is about it. For the defense to improve significantly, we will need to hit on several picks and hope our better players (mainly Brown/Horne) stay healthy.
  22. Seven goal to go plays, 1 run and 6 incomplete passes.
