Define special? He is a solid running back who can move the pile and pick up the tough yards better than any rb we have had since Jonathan Stewart. We should not break the bank for him, but signing him for about 4 million a year (which would put him around 20th in rb pay) for 3 years or so, wouldn't be a bad deal

Bring Cam back for playoff run?

That and when he threw it to Sullivan, who dropped the ball. Sam could have easily run for the first down. -

There were a couple of times I thought Darnold threw when he should have ran. -
Draft a QB or Re-Up with Darnold?
Davidson Deac II replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
What we do with Darnold, or who we draft, is going to depend on how the rest of the season goes. -

Maybe we can turn him into a tight end. -
Are you all in on a Panthers Playoff Push?
Davidson Deac II replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
They may already be back to that. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost every single remaining game this year. Cincy next week is a probable loss. After that, all three games are probably 50/50 for them. -

Meh, the Bucs tanked for years (unintentionally) and it didn't do them much good. They even had the top pick in the draft, drafted a qb, and that qb now plays for New Orleans. Or I should say occasionally plays for New Orleans. They had to sign a qb in free agency to get a Super Bowl. -

IMO, we have about a 1 in 3 chance of doing it. Which is a far better chance than I thought we would have back in late Sep. Or August for that matter. But having a chance this year is far better than wondering when Rhule will be fired, or what draft pick we will have next year. So I am in. -
Experience coaching and playing are two completely different things. That being said, I agree it's still better than Rhule or Meyer. On the other hand, Rhule and Meyer both won at the college level, Kingsbury did not.
-
Raiders have gotten better over the season, at least until they ran into the Mayfield Buzzsaw. And Hackett is in his first year. Kingsbury got fired from Texas Tech and as OC at USC, before being hired by Arizona, and has had one winning season as a head coach in his 7 seasons including College and Pros. And he lost twice to Matt Rhule.
-
With Matt Rhule and Urban Myer gone, Kingsbury is probably the worst coach in the NFL. Of course, all three of them had one thing in common. They were hired out of college with little or no NFL experience. Hopefully, Tepper observes that next time he has to hire a new coach. No college coaches unless they have significant NFL experience.
-
That was dumb on the part of Kingsbury. I understand there are times to be aggressive, but kick the field goal and go in up by two scores. By not making it, they made things easier for the Patriots.

If I were betting, I would pick the Cardinals to win against Tampa. Neither team is very good, but the Cardinals are playing at home and Tampa is playing horribly.
-
I will grant you the Rams, but they had a good defense. But Tampa's run game started clicking towards the end of the season and was dominant in the Superbowl. KC ran the ball pretty well towards the end of the season to.
-
Struggling kicker, 3rd and 2, and you throw a 30 yard pass? Seems like you would want to get your kicker closer, but oh well. Chargers recover the onside kick, game over.
-
Never thought I would say this, but Detroit could be our toughest remaining game.
-
So does Tampa. If both teams win their next two games (a big gigantic if) then we would be playing at Tampa for the division lead.
-
The dolphins haven't had a running game all year. Buffalo and KC both run the ball well, and the Bengal's running game has gotten better over the last few weeks. The Dolphins need some semblance balance if they are going to challenge the teams at the top.
-
These are supposed to be two of the better offensive teams in the league, and yet the defenses are dominating. Miami had one td off of a freak play and another when the defender fell down. SD couldn't score a TD when they had it inside the 10. Both of these teams really need a better running game if they are going to compete with KC, Philly, or Buffalo.

I watched the replay, and I am still not sure what exactly happened.

Hypothetical: If we win the NFCS, should Wilks win COTY?

Coach of the year is Nick Sirianni's to lose. -
I found the 2003 stats. In 2003, 7 teams were averaging more than 25 a game, with one averaging more than 30. This year, 7 teams are averaging more than 25 points a game, none of them are up at 30. Looking at the top rushing teams, in 2003 the Ravens were the top rushing team, with 167 yards a game. This year the Bears are the top, with nearly 190 while the Eagles are second with 163. Admittedly, the styles are different, but running the ball and playing defense are still very good ways to win. That being said, of course we need better qb play to have a chance at the Super Bowl. Hopefully, we will get it in the offseason.
