The drop/poor play call/poor execution on second down set that one up. -

Well, maybe we can hold them to a field goal here. -

Our defense getting carved up by Mitch Trubisky and one of the worst run games in the NFL. -

That was some really bad defense by the Steelers. We made them pay for it. But we aren't likely to be able run the ball in using our running backs here. -

Pitt is selling out to stop the run. We are going to have to throw well to win today. -

The biggest beneficiary of Rhule being fired (aside from us fans) might be Terrance Marshall. -

In that draft, they did nothing much up the middle, nothing much on their right side, and nothing much in the air, outside of one first down. They crushed us on their left side though. Have to make some adjustments. -
Worked out for them though. Miami played fairly well tonight all things considered, but they have lost three in a row. Fortunately, they have Green Bay next. But after that, a critical game against New England that might decide their playoff future.

He was over thinking that one. Should have scored the td.

Field Goal is no sure thing here.

Predict tomorrow's score at BOA

I am torn. On one hand, the Panthers play over the last few weeks has generated hope, which would normally mean we lose tomorrow. On the other hand, Pittsburgh is not good. Their defense is decent, but the offense is pretty bad. They don't run or pass very well. So I guess I will say, we win a close, low scoring, ugly game, as long as we can avoid turnovers. 17-13 Panthers. -
You kick the field goal or you go for it. Punting buys you nothing.
-
Should have been a defensive td. Refs screwed up and Colts catch a break and stop them. Vikes might have one more shot at getting the ball back.
-
Vikes have outscored the Colts 28-3 in the second half. That number rings a bell, can't remember where I heard it though.
-
They have looked rough since the big win over Buffalo.
-
For a guy who was only picked because Rhule's wife liked him, its amazing how much his production has increased once Rhule left.
-
They can run and play defense as well as anyone in the NFL. If (and its a big if) Purdy continues to play well, they could make a run. But irt the NFC championship, I don't see them or anyone else beating the Eagles.
-
I thought the Forty Niner offense looked pretty lackluster last night, especially considering they were going against a Seattle defense that is banged up and that we abused. Their defense on the other hand, looked dominant.

Until this past season, Matt Rhule owned Kingsbury.

Define special? He is a solid running back who can move the pile and pick up the tough yards better than any rb we have had since Jonathan Stewart. We should not break the bank for him, but signing him for about 4 million a year (which would put him around 20th in rb pay) for 3 years or so, wouldn't be a bad deal
