  1. I was curious, so I looked it up. In the past 10 years, two db's and cornerbacks drafted. Not sure if that is a high number, or just average for a top 25 program.
  2. Syracuse qb might rack up 400 yards today against GT.
  3. I will enjoy either way, but I will enjoy it more if we win. Both teams are a little hard to judge for now, but Wake does have a veteran qb and a good group of offensive skill players, so we have a shot.
  4. Might check it out if this continues. I talked to my wife, and she said, lets just go to the Wake Virginia game. Tickets and parking are $45 total. Might just do that.
  5. The local channels still work, but I can't sign up for the hulu free trial, as I already did. Might check out youtube. I am tempted to cancel all these streaming services, directv etc, and just listen to the games on the radio. I could probably retire early if I did.
  6. Just an fyi, anyone that has direct tv or uverse won't be able to watch those games. Att and Disney are fighting.
  7. Well, it worked to an extent. They relied on the rusher being slowed down enough for Lamar to get off the pass, but Lamar missed an open receiver on one throw. He hit the receiver on the second throw, but missed a td by an inch.
  8. Well, pretty good ending to a game that was a little boring at times.
  9. I heard they have been pretty decent the last couple of years. Btw, welcome back.
  10. Chiefs defense is dominating the Ravens.
  11. And hopefully they put the rest of it in the bank so to speak in case we need to make some moves during the season.
  12. At this point, I would prefer a plug in hybrid to a full EV. I looked at a couple of them, and the 30 or so miles it could go on a charge would get me to work and back. And the gas engine would take care of any longer trips I need to make. Bought my wife a car about two years ago, and we looked at the Rav 4 prime, but unfortunately, we would have had to wait 6 months and she needed a car quickly since someone crashed into her car.
  13. I certainly think you could be right. And the receiving corps could actually be above average if Mingo or Leggette become significant contributors. Of course, the key to all this is Young. But we will see.
  14. I don't see how anyone can say its not better than last year, at least on the offensive side. I mean we don't have a lot of big name players, but improvement on the oline usually doesn't come with big name players.
  15. In my opinion, we upgraded our talent on the offensive side at least. Both the Oline and the WR group should be better than they were last year. Whether this translates into more wins is anyone's guess, but they certainly made some efforts.
  16. I heard Gregoria has some great chants. lol Just kidding, knew what you meant. In all seriousness though, Clemson is getting five star recruits at qb. Maybe Dabo needs to change his assessment group/method or whatever he uses.
  17. I don't really give a crap about the cap. Looking at teams that win consistently, I am not even sure if it matters. But in the end, if we win, they can get close to the red line every year. And if we lose, don't care how far under it we are.
  18. All the talk is about Uiagalelei, but FSU's run defense was the worst part of their game by far. 263 yards, 5.4 per carry for BC, 199 and 5.6 per carry for GT. Some of the better teams would have rushed for 400 yards against them. The reality is that FSU's pass defense isn't even being tested because so far, passing hasn't been needed.
  19. It wasn't admitted to by the front office, although they probably suspected he might. It was certainly discussed here and by a few in the media.
  20. That one is a little surprising. I read an article yesterday talking about how Willis was improving. I guess Tn is all in on Levis.
  21. From a historical perspective, its really not. Last year was kind of an exception in that three of the four first round receivers had good years, but more often than not, the first year is a struggle.
  22. I don't think the success rate for drafted receivers is very high to begin with. I read an article the other day that said that less than 50% of receivers drafted in the first round ever have even a single 1000 yard season in the NFL. If memory serves, we have drafted three receivers in the first round in our history, excluding Leggette. 1 is a star that we foolishly traded. 1 got off to a good start, but flamed out mentally. 1 is a person whose name should not be mentioned.
  23. Not that I want him in a Panthers uniform, but I wonder if Trey Lance will be cut after today's performance.
