  1. The spread is something oddsmakers create to encourage betting. In terms of how good the team is, its only slightly relevant.
  2. I am more around 25-30%. But I was at 0% after the first two games, so its a vast improvement.
  3. I don't think there is much of a chance we go wr in the first round. If Young continues to play fairly well, our choice will likely dl, lb, or maybe a slight chance at ol.
  4. I think Miami will beat Syracuse, but it will be another close one.
  5. Until the last few games, you could honestly say he was the worst qb on the roster. I am still not sure he is the "guy" but I am a little encouraged by the last few weeks, essentially since the second half of the Denver game.
  6. I went to see a movie this afternoon, but that Washington Dallas game was crazy. The fumble on the kick return that turned into a td for the returning team. The interception that probably shouldn't have been an int. Then Mclaurin getting a td due to bad coverage by the Cowboys only to miss the xp and the chance to go to OT.
  7. I honestly think that there should be separate MVP awards for qb vs every other position. The QB is always the MVP on any good team these days. Its a lot harder to win with a backup qb than with a back up RB or DE.
  8. If its not a qb, then both Henry and Barkley would need to be in it.
  9. Watching Rams/Eagles. Celebrating the St Louis Rams team that won the SB (Warner, Holt, etc..) while playing in Los Angeles seems wrong. If I were in Los Angeles, no way I would attend a Rams game. Probably wouldn't attend a Chargers game either. Becoming a fan of a team that likes to move around just seems like a waste of energy as a fan.
  10. Maybe he was just mad that they kept Jones over Barkley (who just took it 70 yards for the Eagles).
  11. I am still not sure he is the guy. But 263 yards and more importantly, 27 points, against one of the best defenses in the NFL with relatively little support from the run game and a mostly young raw receiving corps is better than just ok. While overall I thought Canales did a good job today, I do think we should have run the ball a little more in the red zone. Six first qtr plays in the red zone, 1 run, 5 passes. I know KC has an excellent run defense, but still got to balance it out a little better. In the second half, when in the red zone, they had 4 passes and five runs, and scored td's two of the three red zone trips.
  12. Wouldn't be so sure. The best qb in the NFL was drafted tenth. Lamar Jackson and Jordan Love were both late first round picks. Not saying we should draft a qb. If Bryce plays fairly well, we should probably fill some other positions we desperately need filled.
  13. I don't see Clemson getting in unless they win the ACC.
  14. My general care dr once worked for a NFL team. He stated that he was pressured to clear players to play quite a bit by the team he played for. One of the reasons he left the NFL. I don't blame players who want to get their own physician in some cases.
  15. I disagree, but it could be my military background. Anyone who trashed the chain of command publicly got called out no matter the age.
  16. Its not just that he had a good game today. In the past two games, he has done mostly what the coaching staff asked him to do. Its clear they were bringing him along slowly, not asking him to do to much. Today they ask him to do a little more, and he responded.
  17. I am sure the Cowboys, Commanders, and Eagles fans would agree with you. Not sure anyone else would.
  18. Just saying it would be understandable. Dabol is definitely getting canned though at the end of the season assuming he last that long. Its amazing how fast things can change. We are no longer at the bottom of the NFL pile now. Giants, Jags, Raiders, or Titans occupy the bottom spots.
  19. Well, it would depend on why he did it. For example, if Daniel Jones publicly called him out, called him a horrible coach, then maybe. But if he did it just for spite, then Daboll should never be a head coach ever again.
  20. We scored 27 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL, and a few people are still whining about the offense. Nitpicking at its finest. I don't give a crap about whether we run or pass the ball to get td's. Last time I checked, both methods give you 6 points. In truth, I thought we should have run the ball a little more earlier in the game in the red zone, but in the end, 27 points against a good defense is not bad. In fact, that is the second most points against KC this season, only Buffalo scored more. And they all came off of long drives, no short drives after a turnover. Still need to do a lot of work on the defensive side, but the positive is they sacked Mahomes five times and and held them to 10 points in the second half. Couldn't stop them with the game on the line, but then again, most teams don't stop Mahomes with the game on the line.
  21. He had the best game of his NFL career today. And fwiw, he has actually played fairly well since the Denver game. In truth, I thought he was done, and still not sure he is the future, but I feel a little better than I did a few weeks ago. There is a part of me wants to throw out his rookie season, and just proceed as if this is his rookie season.
  22. If the penalty calls are accurate, then it's not bailing them out
