  1. We scored 27 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL, and a few people are still whining about the offense. Nitpicking at its finest. I don't give a crap about whether we run or pass the ball to get td's. Last time I checked, both methods give you 6 points. In truth, I thought we should have run the ball a little more earlier in the game in the red zone, but in the end, 27 points against a good defense is not bad. In fact, that is the second most points against KC this season, only Buffalo scored more. And they all came off of long drives, no short drives after a turnover. Still need to do a lot of work on the defensive side, but the positive is they sacked Mahomes five times and and held them to 10 points in the second half. Couldn't stop them with the game on the line, but then again, most teams don't stop Mahomes with the game on the line.
  2. He had the best game of his NFL career today. And fwiw, he has actually played fairly well since the Denver game. In truth, I thought he was done, and still not sure he is the future, but I feel a little better than I did a few weeks ago. There is a part of me wants to throw out his rookie season, and just proceed as if this is his rookie season.
  3. If the penalty calls are accurate, then it's not bailing them out
  4. Longest fg drive of the year. Great sack by Clowney
  5. Bryce just had the best qtr of football he has played as a panther. Let's just end the game now and move on to the next game. And call it a win for Bryce. Lol
  6. Not a chance the SEC could compete with the NFL. In the large cities that are not in the Southeast, (LA, NYC, Chicago, SF) College football is an afterthought.
  7. Ironic that the SEC championship game could be two Texas teams, while Alabama will end up losing to a decent Vanderbilt team and a not so decent Oklahoma team. Can't help but wonder if fans at these schools are eventually going to regret these mega conferences.
  8. If I were drafting him, I wouldn't care so much about that. Patience is easier to teach than other aspects of being an NFL qb. My concern is how well he performs under pressure, can he get the ball out quickly and accurately in 3 seconds or less. That is the the most important and hardest thing to teach it seems irt an NFL qb.
  9. Unless he goes 5 for 50 with some big runs against KC's prevent defense. I don't expect much from him or from the team this weekend. KC is going to super motivated, and we still aren't very good. Irt Brooks, I just want to see some sparks before the season is done.
  10. One of the top defenses in the NFL, so 20 yards on 6 carries, with a couple of receptions perhaps. Anything more than that would be gravy.
  11. When you cut the qb of the worst offense in the NFL, its not tanking. Its just accepting reality.
  12. Yeah. But I was responding to the comment about them being insanely talented. More talent than us, yeah. But also overrated in the talent department. They have more issues than just qb. Their defense is not good. Their run d is giving up more ypc than we are. On pass defense, they get sacks but if they don't get to the QB, they give up big plays. They also don't run the ball well. they have several big names, but across the board, talent is lacking.
  13. According to this guy, they have a lot of big names. But are not necessarily more talented than other teams. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/analyst-questions-the-talent-on-browns-roster/ar-AA1u0MEy?apiversion=v2&noservercache=1&domshim=1&renderwebcomponents=1&wcseo=1&batchservertelemetry=1&noservertelemetry=1
  14. Brooks hasn't played in a long time and KC has a very good defense, especially the run defense. I don't expect much from him this week.
  15. In fairness, the triangle plus wake team would have some excellent talent. If you are talking current players, Drake May at qb, Kenneth Walker and Bradley Chubb at running back, Jessie Bates at safety, Ekwonu and Zach Tom at tackle, etc...
  16. As a cheap veteran backup I would take him. And yeah, I know not much chance of that happening.
  17. He was signing autographs in the 300/club section. And I think he pounded the drum
  18. Their offense would still be terrible. Last year with SB, they were averaging 15.6 ppg This year without him, they are averaging 15.6 ppg.
  19. It would be hard to take a 64 yard fg off the board. But I understand why they did.
  20. No doubt. I do think that Stroud will be a decent to good NFL qb, but no guarantee he elite.
  21. CJ Stroud is a bust. Definitely having a less than stellar second season though.
