I find I wear them more and more. Especially on the days I work from home. The advantage of getting older is you don't give a crap what people (other than your wife) think about what you wear. I do hate sandals though. Hate walking in the damn things.

Patriots ineligible receiver play is out
Davidson Deac II replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is not going to end well. That analogy only works if the Patriots were allowed to do it, but no one else was. -
Patriots ineligible receiver play is out
Davidson Deac II replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed, it wasn't cheating in any way. I do agree it needed to be changed though. -
Saying that he expects Oher to be the starter doesn't necessarily mean he thinks Oher is the answer at left tackle. Unless the question is, who are we going to give a shot to prove himself. We could pickup someone in the draft as insurance, or even to groom in case Oher doesn't show us much more than Bell did. I wouldn't expect him to say Oher is a temp replacement until we find our real lt, even if he is thinking it.

How many time do you wear jeans before washing them?
Davidson Deac II replied to j2sgam's topic in Huddle Lounge
I wash them before I wear them for the first time. Don't have any idea where they have been or who has tried them own before I put me inside of them. -
Williams has definitely been overpaid, but that is not his fault, its the fault of the front office. Lets face it, we haven't used him very much. He has been splitting carries with Stewart, Tolbert, and Newton. But until this last season, he ypc has been pretty solid. He did struggle this year, but injuries and poor offensive line play were a big part of that. Its certainly not his fault that we were supposedly a running team that didn't use its running backs effectively. Its been a cause of frustration to me over the last few years that we paid a ton of money to Stewart and Williams, but we used both of them sparingly either by design or due to injury. I think DW could still have some gas in the tank, perhaps enough for Pitt to get some decent use out of him. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Williams get 400-500 yards at about 4.5 a carry for Pitt next year if he stays healthy.

Ted Williams on why he chose the Panthers

So can we call him the Splendid Splinter? -
The Panthers absolutely need to give Jake Long an offer
Davidson Deac II replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
It is low risk if we can get him cheap. I doubt we could get him cheap though. -
That is definitely suspicious.

There are a few perhaps. For example, if they were asking for directions. What did they talk about with your son? Don't get me wrong, I agree you have every right to be suspicious. And in fact, if the conversation itself was suspicious, it might be a good idea to let the police know.

Sam Bradford + picks traded to Philly for Nick Foles
Davidson Deac II replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe, but I don't see much benefit for either side. Eagles get an average qb who is injury prone. Rams get an average qb who hasn't played as much, but did miss some time with injuries this year. Rams get a couple of picks, Eagles get one, maybe two. Seems to me the teams swapped problems. Seems like they swapped a late model Sedan for another late Model Sedan. The Rams did free up a little bit of cap space. Who knows, maybe they will now send Foles and a 1st round pick.to New Orleans for Brees. -
Sam Bradford + picks traded to Philly for Nick Foles

I am glad we aren't making any of these psycho trades. Most of them smack of desperation. Seattle makes a bit of sense for getting Graham, but if he doesn't develope chemistry with Wilson and company, they gave up a probowl center (albeit an often injured one) and a first. -
Ted Ginn Jr agrees to 2 year deal with Panthers
Davidson Deac II replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
He would be a temp fix and might allow us to spend our highest picks on other positions of need, and wait till next year to find a WR in the draft. And give us a veteran to go with KB. That being said, I don't see him coming here. -
Report: Ndamukong Suh Signing A $114M Contract With Dolphins
Davidson Deac II replied to NcPsa10's topic in Carolina Panthers
And sell peanuts in the stands. -
If the contract is written so that we don't lose a lot by cutting him, then its a low risk deal, and I don't have a problem with it.

I like the new incarnation of Khan. The actor did an excellent job. And the new incarnation of Uhura was just to damn hot to let it bother me. I mostly agree with the rest.

Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks
Davidson Deac II replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Cincy seems like the most likely destination imo. From what I read, they have cap room and desperately need help pressuring the qb. -
Official* - Manny Pacquiao v. Floyd Mayweather - May 2, 2015

I think the last fight I watched from beginning to end was Ali/Sphinks. Its been a while. -
He will likely want more money than we are willing to pay, but he would fulfill the scat back role the Coach has mentioned.

Cam Newton should be paid more than Luck or Wilson
Davidson Deac II replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Since he has only played one and had over 450 yards and put 28 points on the board in that one, I am not sure that stat is very relevant. Can't really determine what to pay him on something like that. By comparison, Brady's road record is only 3-3.- 181 replies

Worldwide, boxing is still very popular. When I was in the Philippines a few years ago, Pacquiao's popularity was greater than any athlete I can remember in the US. Boxing is very popular among Hispanics, and throughout most of the Latin American countries. Not that I really care though. I would watch wrestling (the fake kind) before boxing or MMA, and I am not really a huge fan of wrestling either.
