  1. We scored points in the third qtr. Seems like we haven't done that in a long time.
  2. Its Brady with two minutes or less. I don't think it really matters. He had Gronk and Evans. I think Brady could score with me and you out there as WRs
  3. After four years? It happens maybe 1 out of a 100 times.
  4. Darnold has been playing four years. Plenty of film on him. Unless there is someone out there even dumber than us, then we aren't going to get anything in a trade. And we are keeping him. Rhule is tied to him, and he will either succeed or be fired eventually.
  5. Dumbest challenge I have seen this year. Big pile of bodies, can't see a thing, no way it gets overturned.
  6. The playoff scenario is whacky. I guess if Pitt/Balt tie, they are both out.
  7. I thought Mills looked fantastic, and in a big game. Not sure if he is just a flash in the pan, but it would be ironic if he ends up being the best qb drafted last year.
  8. You are not the only one. Going to be difficult to hire a great OC if that OC knows the coach is on thin ice. Also, if he fails to hire a great offensive coordinator, does that mean we fire him in two months, and start looking for a coach after everyone else is finished?
  9. He annoyed me when he was the Tarheel's announcer, he didn't annoy me as the Panthers guy. That being said, he was not as good as the guy he replaced. Personally, I am just glad the Panthers didn't go after Stan Cotten.
  10. I was a little disappointed when Wake lost at Miami, but Miami is probably the best team in the conference right now.
  11. Well, there is an element of luck in finding the right qb. But I don't have much confidence in the staff.
  12. I am 57 years old, figure I have about 20 more years left if I take care of myself. So I will check out 2042 I guess.
  13. Could be that Rhule is a personable and likeable person, just not a very good NFL coach.
  14. I don't see us resigning Jackson. We have so much invested in the secondary, just can't afford it. And I am not sure he wants to come back. He has seen 3 years of dysfunction here and next year is likely to be more of the same, even if we get a new coach. He might want a fresh start. So hopefully we do get a pick out of it.
  15. Is there an article stating this? Seems like its just someone's opinion. That being said, we probably will listen to offers.
  16. Our offense looked good in Rhule's first game against the Raiders last year. But with a couple of exceptions, it has gotten progressively worse over the last two years. I see no reason to hope it will get better next year, unless we luck up and draft the next Tom Brady with a late round pick.
  17. True. Which is a big reason it is so hard to determine how well a college player, especially a qb, will do in the NFL, where the talent is more equally distributed. Which is also why I won't mind if we take Pickett. He might not be good, or he might be the next Drew Brees. Of course, we have been relatively lucky the two times we picked a qb in the first. Kerry Collins was a adequate qb, (although not a good person). And Cam was very good. Lets hope our next first round pick nets similar results, but the next guy is able to stick around a little longer.
  18. He was also on one of the more loaded college offenses of all time. That helps those numbers you reference just a little. How many receivers from that team are now playing in the NFL? Two first round picks and a second. Several offensive linemen and tight ends. They had almost an NFL level offense going up against College players. Meanwhile, there is a pretty decent chance that not a single Pitt receiver will be in the league. Their tight end might. But its a given that Pickett had a lot less talent around him. Imagine how good Pickett would look with that level of talent around him?
