  1. And how the hell would you know? I know how you know.....lol
  2. I am down near the Ballantyne area...do NOT like being on the edge of all that ice. I would take 6 inches of snow over 1/8 inch of ice.
  3. That's all they have. And the 72 dolphins are wildly over-rated. Go check their schedule that year....they beat like 3 teams with a winnig record. Most of their wins were against teams with 3-4 wins.
  4. I look at trap games as those against a "supposed lesser team" that the better team is overlooking. I don't see this as the case at all. But, I do see this as a tough game becuase of how high the emotions have been for the past two games......not to mention comng off a short week. I can see an emotional drain, but not our players overlooking anything.
  5. Nice write up Dex. That was right up there with PhillyB and SCP post quality.
  6. But his point was still correct....and his assessment of the football knowledge of those he was responding too (cough, cough, you) was also correct. Carry on
  7. the thing that Rivera was not happy with was tackling. He felt (rightfully so) that we allowed way to many yards after contact. Guys have to wrap guys up.
  8. 2 for fuging 12 on third down by the Niners....enough said
  9. Brady and Brees are pudding their pants after watching that defense
  10. Yep...that was ALL on Kalil. Never got the ball to Cam. This will be a special season. In the past, one of those two fumbles would have been recovered by the Niners and they would have won on a FG. Like the 2003 season, things bounced our way.
  11. Kaepernick is a complete fraud....45 net passing yards. And only 151 total yards
  12. All bow down to the defensive genius that is Rivera. Remember how bad our D was just two seasons ago. Add two stud DT and a Keek in the middle and thus is what you get
  13. That was 85 bears kind of defensive performance
  14. I agree 100% with you that the key on defense is getting pressure without blitzing. Even though our back 4 have played valiantly in several games this season, they are still a young and vulnerable bunch. If we have to get blitz happy ot get pressure it WILL expose them and Bradford is fully capable of making them pay. On offense, I see a well balance attack again....much like the Vikings game.
  15. Very fair point. There is also so much that goes on during practice that we do not see...that is very important in evaluating a players progression (especially a QB). That is the job of the coach and GM. They may be seeing improvements that will take time to consistently see on the field. I was very high on Znewton after his rookie year and late last year. I am starting to see inconsistencies in his play and things that look like regression. I hope I an wrong....time will trll
  16. Other than being a physical freak, I am not sure what areas Cam is above average. Accruacy....nope Mechanics....nope Reading defenses...nope Quick on reading progressions....nope Making the big play late in the game when the team needs it....nope Cam is nothing more that another athlete trying ot play QB. We have heard it too many times....how they will transform the game. Yet, all of them have been left on the side of the road an the game has continued to move forward just the same. The position of QB is won IN the pocket. It is as plain and simple as that. Look at Cam, Kaep, RGII.....all had great rookie years. They brought something new to the table and caught teams by surprise. Yet, now defenses have caught up to them and none are having stellar years.
  17. The 5th season is not really an option. If we exercised it, we would have to pay him in excess of $20M for one season (avg of top 5 QG salaries). Gettleman is not that stupid. My biggest questions is this....will many of the idiots on this board leave when Cam is shown the door after next season? Or, are they truly Panther fans?
  18. Smitty and LaFell have to come up with those catches. But, Cam needs to take just a little off the pass. He is slinging it out there....needs a little more finesse on those 3-4 yard passes
  19. The worth of anything is determined from what another will pay for it. Beason is nowhere near the elite MLB that he was a few seasons ago. He has had 3 surgeries in 17 months and has struggled to regain even starting quality form. Blackburn was a major upgrade to him based on the way he had performed. I loved Beason as a player, but the injuries were just too much to overcome.
  20. Not a chance that Beason's number gets retired. He did not do enough to come close to warranting that honor.
  21. Inside the 10 is where our inability to run the ball is killing us. Field is short and hard to get open
