Daly’s offense is no different than what Myers ran. Fields has all the Tools...just hard to evaluate him in that offense as it doesnt require him to do many things he will have to in the nfl. Not saying he won’t be great...just hard to evaluate...which is why he slid.

Trey Wingo and Tony Pauline on Panthers draft class

Same can be said for what YOU think too.... -
The three qb’s at OSU before Fields (Jones, Pryor, and Haskins) all looked like all pros in that one read qb friendly offense just like Fields. They were all in the heisman talk and yet flamed out ferociously in the nfl. hard to evaluate fields in that offense

Trask? Sorry, but Trask will be a jag. -
The issue is that it is hard to evaluate a qb in a system where all qb’s look great. I’m not saying he won’t be great...just that the situation would make me very nervous. so much about being a great nfl can’t be evaluated during a pro day...you have to see it in film. When an offense doesn’t ask a qb to do those things, it is very hard.

That would be the dumbest move we could make. -

Many say that if he can trim down another 20 lbs, he would gain more quickness and be a force in a zone blocking scheme. get that man a nutritionist and a personal chef. -

Round 3(b) - Carolina Panthers Select Notre Dame TE Tommy Tremble

Not a pass catching TE weapon. More of a blocking TE and blocking H Back -

Nice blocking H back that will open up some holes for CMC -
Round 3(a) - Carolina Panthers Select BYU OT Brady Christensen

I think he likely ends up at G...but 98% of these OT being taken will too. Weak true LT draft -

The huddle is so bipolar. An hour ago the huddle was losing its minds saying this staff is filled with idiots...now they love them and the draft. Huddle is like that bat poo crazy girlfriend.- 179 replies

Round 2 - Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall

Marshall is nothing like Benjamin. -
This draft was weak at LT. Sewell and maybe Slater were the only two real LT’s. Rest are RT and G

With the picks we have now, we could move up for one if we want to. -
I don’t think we select all those 6th rounders. I think they will be used to move up a time or two in the 3-5 rounds.

Time to take a RB so the huddle will officially lose its collective mind

The number of first round busts says the talent evaluation isn’t better. Actually it us probably worse...in the past players were evaluated on what they did on the field. Now, more emphasis is put on the combine and how they look in shorts.
-
I don’t think any of these OT taken in the 2nd round can play LT in the nfl
-
Tom Brady...Antonio brown...Latavius Murray...Antoine Bethea...Adalius Thomas...Matt Burke...Terrell Davis...Greg Lloyd...all say hello from the 5th round.

Heard we were not high on Slater as a LT..heard other teams felt the same. More of a RT or guard.
