    His personal expectations shouldn't be putting extra pressure on himself because the fans want him to play up to a trade the team chose to make (of course I want him to live up to the hype but from his personal POV..i don't want him over doing it because of something he couldn't help)

    it recent history is any indication...they're overpaying on old IPs, then making overly bloated hollywood movies that are bombing. They're not even trying to take chances on original creator driven shows/movies

    He's employed by networks/studios i'd never expect him to fully support stealing from them lol but studios are also digging their own graves and I don't feel sorry for them, they can hide because "it hurts creators" but a lot of creators don't see what they should the executives do Being fully ethical in a crooked system is a sure fire way to get taken advantage of

    I remember the creator of Breaking Bad pretty much saying piracy is what spread the word about the show because no one at the time was watching AMC

    Companies are paying for it by going into massive amounts of dept, not turning a profit then firing 10% of their entire work force after they raise subscription prices when their plan doesn't work Paying creators is an afterthought

    Your entire argument hinges on the entertainment industry being equitable and its not The record profits are not making it to the content creators, its going to the executives so I feel very little remorse in people seeking other means to get content
