  1. I remember seeing Jordan Gross at the Midtown Best Buy after he retired. I did a triple take.
  2. It's sad what the NBA has become in Charlotte. Anyone who wasn't around in the late 80's/90's will never understand how the Hornets owned this town.
  3. You know what? It's me. Went to the opener last year (which we lost), and was only able to watch 2 or 3 games on tv last year (which we lost). So I spend the AppleTV money, and watch the first 2 games, which we've lost. Do me a favor. Just kick my ass, okay? Kick this ass for a man, that's all. Kick my ass. Enjoy. Come on. I'm not asking, I'm telling with this. Kick my ass.
  4. I remember when JR announced he was going try to bring the NFL to Charlotte. We had just been awarded an NBA franchise. I remember thinking, "Settle down dude, it's a miracle that we got an NBA team". R.I.P.
  5. Deflating is a good way to put it. Very sloppy finishing. Reminded me of last year's season opener. Including the great crowd. Went ahead and spent the $80 for MLS season pass. Couldn't get WAXN 64 on Direct Stream last year, so I missed a lot of games. Not this year.
  6. Listening to sports radio, and hearing the talking heads say, "Eagles are looking great for the future. Hurts is the guy, and they'll be back in the SB soon."
  7. Bad calls or not, the Bengals had the ball in the last two minutes, with a chance to win the game. They didn't get it done. (and I was rooting for them)
  8. Wilks would've been the safe hire. Fanbase (for the most part) would've been happy, and the national media would be praising Tepper. I guess Tepper would rather win, and he thinks Reich is the better option for that. I hope he's right.
  9. He put out five excellent solo albums in the last seven years. If you haven't heard them, I'd urge you to check them out.
  10. Relocation is about the only thing that would do it. I'm too old to start over with a new team. And I ain't going back to the Jets.
  11. One of them is going to lose. That's enough for me.
  12. Average would be a refreshing change.

  14. If seven wins make them happy, they're pulling for the right team. 2022: 7-10 2018: 7-9 2014: 7-8-1 2012: 7-9 2007: 7-9 2004: 7-9 2002: 7-9 2000: 7-9 1997: 7-9 1995: 7-9
  15. Yeah, I'm not buying the "Taylor told Rivera to start Howell" narrative. Rivera initially announced Heinicke as the starter, and the DC media and fans lost their minds over it. So he backtracked.
  16. 2015 was much worse than 2003. In 2003, we didn't realize how hard it would be to make it back. These days I just watch Red Zone on Sundays. Much better for my mental health. Besides, the older I get, the less important this all seems.
  17. Depending on the next couple of games, I could be good with Darnold on a short, cheap deal, and seeing what we've got in Corral. Sam's ceiling is Ryan Tannehill.
  18. We are currently at the "We get recognized" part of the cycle:
