  1. Letting him walk for nothing would be far more crippling to this franchise.
  2. 99% of being a Hornets fan is hindsight.
  3. I was on this forum the night Malik Monk dropped to us. Everyone was breaking out the party hats. We'll have to see how this plays out.
  4. I would've preferred Scoot, but Miller was a consensus top-3 guy. The hysterics are weird.
  5. I remember when our team name was announced and thinking, "As in Michigan Panthers? Ugh." Then I saw the logo, and was cool with it. That's all I have to say about the Michigan Panthers.
  6. I don't know who they're taking. But I'd guarantee that they've asked Lamelo about it.
  7. The way I remember it, most people here were pretty much done with the NBA after the Hornets left. Of course, nobody knew that city council already had a deal with the league to get another team.
  8. That doesn't seem likely. But I guess we'll see.
  9. I've read that he's about to sign an extension. If Melo wants to stay here, we build around him.
  10. I read that Portland is open to trades. New Orleans could work a deal with them, contingent on us drafting Miller.
  11. I believe the 2012 Lottery was the one that broke me. Haven't watched one live since.
  12. Same as every year. I'll go about my life as normal, and check my phone at 11:00 to see who went where.
  13. Does market size even matter in the NFL?
  14. I guess we'll find out.
  15. Gambling on games and attending games are two different things. Most states have legalized sports betting anyway, so you don't have to go to Vegas to do it.
  16. Orlando only has the NBA and MLS. That's about 50 events per year. If Vegas gets the MLS and NBA, they're looking at 200 events per year. That's a lot of tourists.
  17. So the A's just bought land for a new stadium in Vegas. I get that we'll probably never have MLB in Charlotte, but how does LV go from zero pro teams to three ... in just six years? Is that even sustainable?
  18. Yep. I switched from cable to YouTube TV a couple of years back. Saved me about $50/month. When football season comes, I add the sports tier ($11/month) to get RedZone. When the season's over, I drop it. It does suck not having RSN's, though. Haven't seen a Hornets or Braves game in years.
  19. I actually had tickets to the game, but couldn't attend. That last goal would've happened right in front of me. Glad I missed it.
