  1. Switched back and forth between the Panthers and Red Zone. I know it was against the Saints, but Drake Maye sure looks like "that guy."
  2. I mean, I'm no BY stan but he's clearly killing the clock on that one.
  3. Would be a shame to waste this defensive effort.
  4. If we get rid of BY, we still have the same ownership and front office.
  5. Me, signing up for FanDuel Network, and then canceling FanDuel Network:
  6. Just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Whatever that is.
  7. They used to own this town. I wonder if things would've been any different if we hadn't gotten the Panthers so soon after.
  8. He flunked a physical (allegedly), clearly didn't want to be here, and was in the last year of his contract. I'm actually surprised they were still able to get a couple of first rounders for him.
  9. Yeah, pretty much every pre-draft ranking I saw had him no lower than 6. I don't know if he's gonna be any good or not, but it's not like this was some giant reach.
  10. Probably one of the least surprising picks this franchise has made. Pretty much every mock had us taking him.
  11. We were. Now we're the "Why are we here?" franchise.
  12. OKC lost Durant, Harden & Westbrook. They play in the one of the smallest markets in the league, and have never won the lottery. They play in the tougher conference. And now they're in the NBA finals. We have no excuse.
  13. Worst thing is, we were all set to draft Mitchell, but decided to grab Malik Monk when he dropped.
  14. Actually, we traded him to the Clippers. The Clippers traded him to OKC for Paul George, the following year.
  15. Well, I was referring to the current OKC team. Who is their generational player? SGA? The Hornets were the ones who drafted him, at #11. And then traded him immediately. And even if he leaves OKC, they won 68 games this year, and are currently 2 games away from the conference finals. So, they've got a chance, which is something we've never said about the Hornets. My point being, even if the odds weren't stacked against us (which they are), we'd manage to screw it up anyway. Even if the lottery was legit, it's just a bad, bad look for the NBA. We've heard scattered "rigged" claims before, but last night everyone seemed to be in agreement. Even Mavs fans.
  16. Thing is, we can't even blame it on being a small market. OKC is a smaller market than Charlotte, and they're competing. Just need solid ownership and a good front office. We've never had good ownership, and our last good GM was Bob Bass.
  17. I was bored at work, so I did 50 draft lottery simulations: #1 pick - 12% #2 pick - 26% #3 pick - 8% #4 pick - 10% #5 pick - 8% #6 pick - 30% #7 pick - 6%
