  1. I don't know how that would play out. He showed up to not play all last year and got paid. He's taking up over 30M on their cap this year as opposed to 10M or so last year (I don't know the exact numbers). I'm certain they wouldn't take a real low ball when they have much better options based on his preference but otoh, they should be fairly motivated to make some deal. I'm guessing the Texans would be a lot more interested in pick #6 this year than #18 that New Orleans holds. Of course, the Saints have 2nd and 3rd round picks this year to include.
  2. No clue if this has been posted but this was in an Observer article on how the Panthers could make themselves more attractive to Watson. I imagine the crowd here would love this. Link (probably has a paywall) https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article259388619.html
  3. He is a sleeper agent recruiting for baylor.
  4. I want to play for a lousy team with such a bad offensive line that I may be killed. --no quarterback ever
  5. I remember what that will be like.
  6. I don't know if they would but they do have 3 in the top 20 so they may be wanting to move into the top 10. I would absolutely take that deal fwiw.
  7. Based on the mood here, rhule should be ecstatic.
  8. I guess I'm repressing memory from last season so I ask... Did deonte brown ever get any playing time last year. If so, I don't remember. Did he do ok?
  9. That's embarrassing for la for a championship game.
  10. I reached out to him on LinkedIn. He should respond any time now.
  11. What bothers me about the whistle call is that they know there was an inadvertent whistle but they just chose to ignore it because it makes them look bad. Obviously the side judge knows he blew the whistle and boger was a few yards away and had to hear it. Ignoring it is not a judgment call, it is just not enforcing the rulebook correctly with regards to inadvertent whistles and that is even worse and not acceptable. Having said that, if they had ruled the inadvertent whistle and took away the td, there is obviously still a bad screw up and would have screwed the bengals but it is the correct call imo.
  12. Every year I hear that the nfl uses its best graded refs in the playoffs, and every year I see jerome boger be an incompetent clown. It's almost like the nfl has no clue or is just dishonest.
  13. Absolute incompetence from jerome boger on (incorrect) whistle from his crew. Can't tell defense they can't hit anybody after the whistle and then give the offense a td after that whistle. He just hoped no one noticed. He should have been fired years ago.
  14. Jerome boger is one of the most incompetent people in the world.
  15. Cams contract called for roughly 500k incentive for each game he starts and finished. I could be wrong but I think he has only been allowed to finish one of the games he started (the wft game). I doubt that is coincidence.
  16. I normally find my shade behind his ears. I can hate on my team all I want but outsiders can shut up about them.
  17. So I forget....do we hate him or love him this week?
  18. Unfortunately you are definitely right. There were more Washington fans in our stadium than most games during our sb year. We curb stomped Washington in that game so they mostly were quiet then.
  19. i wouldnt pump fake much behind our line if you value your health.
  20. They graded Paradis high for not holding on all the plays he got beaten on.
  21. The conspiracy theorist in me wanted to say the game was rigged. The realist in me knew as soon as I saw Jerome boger was the ref, that game changing errors would happen. They do in every game he refs. The fact that he still has a job indicates that the nfl doesn't care. I just hope he is incompetent in both directions but yesterday I don't think he was.
  22. How do Chuba and freeman compare in pass pro. I think cmc has had some key blocks to allow darnold to make plays so that is a less obvious concern to me.
  23. I went to the stones show last night and it was awesome. Mick is amazing to be nearly 80. He was running around and moving like someone half his age. Fwiw.
