I always liked hunter. Seems like he could get open in the middle of the field but not a vertical threat that we probably need. I know he didn't play last year after some bad injuries the previous year. He is only 29 but there is risk that he may not recover back to where he was. I'd be happy with him if the risk is very low from the cap perspective.

Agree. I think jalon walker is odds on favorite now as I doubt we can do much at edge in free agency. My question is do we still look at Mason Graham if he is there. I love the thought of making the line a strength.

If our team were to come together and be solid enough to be in a playoff race, dalton could keep us in most games if forced to start. I think he is competent as a backup, known the offense, and at this reasonable cost, i think this is a smart signing.

I try to be optimistic. Teams rise from the ashes every year. Houston, Tampa, and Arizona were seen as the worst teams last off-season and 2 had great years and even Arizona was coming on at the end of the year. Can't read much on here if you want to be optimistic. The loathing is insane.

According to espns top 100 free agents, hunt was 5 overall and the top o line. Those type of players aren't cheap but our o line needs to be so much better. I like it.

With the discussion about Caldwell, I remembered dom capers. Is he still around? I haven't heard his name at all in all the coaching changes. I know he is evero's guy so I'm guessing so if evero doesn't leave.

You may be right...I have no way of knowing. But, I do think some head coaches would dictate to run the ball in that situation. I think riverboat would.
