Panthers Final Decision On Hardy : No Thanks

The documentary "Room 237"? About all the different theories of hidden meanings like native American genocide and poo like that in The Shining? Good stuff. Enjoyed it -

I love that people use the Seahawks Percy Harvin example (who I think maybe only played the first half of the first game and Super Bowl that year) as an example. But what about the two rings the Ravens have and the statue of the guy accused of MURDER outside their stadium? -

I hope so at some point. I hope we don't get the weekly updates like we did for Beason or Smitty with a bunch of people either pouting or gloating. I am really not that upset about it. I would rather spend the money on Cam and Luke. But it is also frustrating to draft a guy, develop him, and make him a star so someone else can reap the benefits just as he is entering his prime. -

Defense definitely looked better last 5 games of the season. So did Matt Moore last 5 games in 2009 -

Sorry, I was hoping for a great defense, not just effective. Anyone who thinks we are better without Hardy need to turn in their football knowledge cards on their way out. -

Other team's washouts and rookies don't really get me excited. Maybe there is a young unrestricted FA DE in his prime that maybe a little troubled so he ended up on the low end the market that is an all-pro that we can get...... oh fugging wait. -

Addison, Alexander, and every other DE on the roster next season better play like their asses are on fire and the QB is the only one holding a bucket of water -
I didn't say they didn't have a civil settlement. I said he cannot settle on the conditions of not testifying or not showing up at court if called upon. Just talking about NC law, not landing on the moon. I can prove it, just go look at NC statutes on civil settlements. I did imply that the DA mentioned it to himself imply that is why she didn't cooperate to save face and manipulate the media. Judging by your posts it seems he was successful

I do. You should. Voth has been probably the most on point journalist covering the Panthers last couple of years. -

Most people on this board hate your jobs so you think "FUG YEAH. PAID VACATION BITCHES!!!" What if... and I know this is freaking crazy... but what if you LOVE your job? These guys are getting paid now. But they didn't when they were in Pop Warner, High School, college (maybe). Most guys who become productive in the NFL play because they love to play football. They just happened to get paid well to do it. Cam broke his back, and he felt terrible that he had to miss one game. He didn't say "Hell yes, I broke my back. Paid vacation boys!!!" 90% of this board would be stoked to get worker's compensation. These guys hate missing a single snap of the game they love. They take pain pills and injections just to get on the field. They play past ther prime longer than their bodies can hold up, just because they want to stay on that field So quit talking about paid vacations just because your job sucks and you hate it and would gladly sit at home at get paid.

The main debate seems to be some arguing whether he was technically disciplined and some are talking about whether he was actually disciplined. Technically the NFL will say that he has not been disciplined yet. And judging from the court ruling that is the case. Jeremy, Scot and others were right about that aspect. I contend that he was actually punished.. Other's might see it otherwise, but we are arguing semantics. This ruling (if it is upheld on appeal) is good Hardy because it means Hardy won't likely be suspended for more than two games. If Hardy gets suspended for two games and he appeals it, he would lose. If he gets suspended for more than two there are now two precedents that would likely get it overturned.

My patents kept switches over the freaking refrigerator just in case. I got belts and switches at times as a kid. But times have changed. Plus the Peterson kid was like 4. A little to young for switches IMO
