I just read a bunch of Mark's tweets. My God. He is horrible.

Then I feel bad for them both as adult males. And I wouldn't be bragging about knowing Mark, either. Kroeger should have known better than to take the bait and simply taken the high road. Absolutely no need to step down to Mark James level. Not a good look. Block the guy and be done with it. Also, and I admit I've peeked over at their little hissy fits on twitter, but what do you think either one of the two would say to each other or do if they happened to run into each other somewhere outside of the work environment? I never heard of Chris Kroeger until he got the job at WFNZ. And believe it or not, Mark James got a promotion when he headed to ATL. Bigger market, bigger opportunity for his brand, and probably more $$$. I dislike the guy but his angle is pretty simple - irritate and piss off the listeners so they load the lines. Negative attention is still attention. He fit in well at WFNZ because WFNZ really doesn't have any credibility and it's pretty obvious they are a caller-heavy station that tries to piss off listeners or stimulate them with negativity. If you are a UNC fan I don't know why you would listen to WFNZ.

I'm telling y'all this is fake. It draws attention to themselves, their stations, their brands, and their twitter accounts. Radio is fake. It's an act. What kinda grown men get in sissy slap fights over the internet? Both of these clowns probably wouldn't say sh*t to each other if they walked past one another. Now, with that being said I truly believe Mark James is a bad person. Calling the guy a "tool" is an understatement. Any "man" who admits that he would like to work for TMZ/paparazzi can't be taken seriously or trusted. WFNZ is garbage.

If we don't make the playoffs last year....let's say the Bengals kicker makes the gimmie he misses and Atlanta gets in instead of us...there's a chance that Rivera is going into the season with the hottest seat of all NFL coaches. I'm not complaining but the Panthers were very, very lucky last year. They need to improve and they haven't. Meanwhile the Seahags get Jimmy Graham.

You make solid, fair points that I don't necessarily D/A with - but they are not relevant to the WR discussion we are having. Panthers WR corp is trash, not helping the franchise QB in any way, and it seems like they are cool with it. Panthers have needs aside from the WR corp but I'm shocked on how it's neglected here.

Y'all whining and crying about "OH WEE MAYNE GETTLEMAN GOT HIM A PLAN" need to be reminded that the Panthers were one of the luckiest teams in NFL history last year by winning arguably one of the absolute worst divisions in the history of the NFL & getting a home playoff game against a team on it's 6th string QB. And don't forget that the only reason we got into the playoffs was because of a fluky tie because an automatic kicker missed a gimmie. #JustSayin What was that about "paying attention" again? There's still some time left but aside from cutting Bell lose and getting a returner, panthers have not improved in any way.
