Pete the Cheat broke every rule in the book at USC and only went on the NFL because his team was getting hammered by the NCAA. They still haven’t recovered from Pete the Cheat.

Game was lost due to defense and coaching. Glad Cam is back. If he wasn’t playing I doubt we score more than 10 points.

I’m still bullish on Brown. Need to find out what he is though. Pass rusher or space eater. Fatten him up this off-season?

I can’t believe Texas and basically every big program in Florida has dropped to where they are. They pretty much pick their recruits, have superior talent in at least half of their games but for some reason can’t find a coach worth a poo.

Again maybe I worded the post poorly but I was not advocating Sark as a Panthers coach in anyway. I think he is a dead man walking at Texas and maybe the Longhorns coming after Ruhle could get him outta here.

Sarkisian is an admitted alcoholic. I’m not gonna knock him for poo he did in the past while struggling w substance abuse. my point of mentioning Sark is that Texas could easily make a case to Fire him this year, but if they don’t and he sucks again next season he will be out of there. Ruhle has some ties to Texas so maybe it could entice him to resign to take over there. I was not implying in anyway that Sark be on the radar as a potential panthers HC just that if we have to suffer thru another year of Ruhle maybe Texas opening could entice him to leave.

Well if Ruhle sticks around next year - Sarkisian at Texas could be another one to watch since it looks like Franklin is staying at PSU.

I will say that when Ruhle addressed the college rumors a few weeks ago, I thought it was bullshit. It did reek of something fishy and I didn’t buy it.

It’s only fair to give Ruhle till the end of the season. But he has not improved as a coach. I don’t see him getting any better. i was really hoping that Franklin leaving Penn State could give everybody involved that “out” where we part ways with Ruhle gracefully but now the rumor mill is Franklin is about to sign an extension so who knows. Will be interesting to see if Ruhle’s name pops up in any more college gigs because there are some really nice jobs opening up and a few more could come open as well.

TBF - Ruhle does not give me the used car salesman vibes. Not at all. When I think of a sleezy used car salesman Coach I’m talking about Calipari, Pitino, Mike Brey, Urban Meyer, Ed Ogeron.

If they keep Ruhle around they are going to be “rebuilding” every year that bozo is on the sideline
