I’m not a billionaire and don’t need a pair of brass fake balls to make me feel better about having a catdick but how exactly is giving your ex boss who you don’t like $40 million to bulldoze his house a flex? man I hate this guy so much I’m gonna buy one of his houses for 40 million and bulldoze it seems petty, irresponsible, and dumb -

Isn’t this that feller who said he won’t pull for the panthers anymore because the male cheerleaders alienated the Mooresville nascar necks -

Bust. Will replace Terrible Terrace next year very nicely. -
I do remember that Shinn was such a horrible businessman and NBA owner he basically bankrupt the NO Hornets and the team was absorbed by the NBA
-
I don’t know. You may be right.
-
I don’t get what point u trying to make LA now has two teams and the raiders are in a market that 20 years ago people said would never ever have a professional sports team there because of gambling
-
Charlotte is a large growing city and can sustain an NfL team. I agree that I am also speculating what Tepper would do but I do not agree with the notion that the NFL would block him from moving the team anywhere he wants.
-
I don’t believe owners have ever stopped a relocation in any American sport. It’s basically a rubber stamp if they want to move. some of yall, and I’m not accusing you of this, think the center of the universe is Charlotte.
-
Right. Most of them do. Corporate welfare. And when the city council gets mad about it he will just move the team. It’s a method that’s worked several times before. Team relocated to a new market and gets a brand new state of the art stadium for the league to show off in a Super Bowl a few years later.
-
I’d be surprised if they moved, but wouldn’t be shocked. I think we are still a few years away from anything like that being discussed - but I think a tell will be when the new stadium talk starts picking up and if he wants it financed by the tax payers. That will be a great way for him to start the relocation process
-
It’s comical to think you or anyone else knows what a butthurt billionaire is going to do with his NFL team If the NFL loves Charlotte so much how come we haven’t hosted a draft or hosted a Super Bowl? the nfl is so powerful they could put a team in Vietnam and could probably make it work
-
I 100% believe Tepper to the be that type of owner to completely wear out his welcome here, piss off everyone in the city and alienate the fans with a below average product on and off the field and then “take his ball and go home” and move the team as one final F-U to everyone. George Shinn style. interesting to see what happens this offseason, if he starts the “new stadium” on tax money stuff…a move could be on the horizon because that is a sure as hell way to lose what is left of the city.
-
It is All about money and the NFL prints it. An NFL team in OKC, San Antonio, Toronto, Mexico City would all do well. I don’t even know if the nfl would bother putting another team in Charlotte.
-
They would approve it in a heartbeat. Wouldn’t think twice about it. They don’t care about Charlotte or where the team is located. I’m pretty sure there is a gentleman’s agreement among them about not vetoing moves. When has one EVER been vetoed in any American sport?

Jim Leonhard to UNC as DC/HCIW rumors starting to pick up.
