I totally forgot about Jacoby. This is going to get ugly for Deshaun and Cleveland. Baker is out of there... and it seems like we're really trying to pounce on that situation. Based on Cam's media lately... We're unlikely to bring him back. But even with Brissett, Clevelands QB room needs to be bolstered.

Bold Prediction. Deshaun Watson gets suspended for a year. Baker Mayfield ends up being a Panther. Cam Newton ends up in Cleveland.

I dont think we'll ever really know the truth. They're going to spin it as if they got their guy. Its likely that the coaches were split on who ranked where. My concerns about Matt Corral are his inaccuracy with the deep ball and his small frame. But we took him in the 3rd. It hardly cost us anything.We didnt reach panic. We got an Elite tackle. And Baker Mayfield is likely NOT coming now. There's cap money to address other needs and this team is still very young. Getting Malik would have been Magical... but this front office hasn't done much to deserve that kind of good favor.

Everything that man said couldve waited until after the draft. You dont do all of this posturing to draft a tackle at 6. You do this to convince someone to trade with us. We'll see if it pays off.

Totally agree. We tried too hard in the offseason to convince people that we're taking a QB at 6. A stout OT should be there. I'd be surprised if we could find a trade partner. Fitt likes to look like a gun slinging GM... but he's looking real clownish for the draft / trades we made last year. (Im so excited to see our long snapper take the field this year.) I wish we had the balls to take a swing at QB at #6. But this organization has only shown that they are competent at being incompetent.
