Its as if... having a quarterback on your roster who was once drafted in the top 5 doesnt necessarily preclude you drafting somebody better. Jameis Winston has been better than Sam Darnold. But we gotta pretend like we've struck gold and ignore the position in the draft lol.

Early reports are that its for a CB. Who knows anymore. Lets just get there man.

If we're at 8, I doubt it. I like Horn, but the QB run is going to push top talent down to 8. I think they're high on Horn, but they're higher on other guys. The only reason I see us picking Horn is because we trade back. Thankfully, we dont have to wait long to see.

I think they were thinking about us initially... but that trade with Denver told NE that we're seriously in the market to draft a QB if he falls to us. Sam, PJ, and Will dont strike us as a strong QB room. I think that Fields/ Lance are two guys that we like... but even Mac Jones could get drafted by us at 8 depending on how things fell.

It seems like Atlanta is trying REALLY hard to trade that pick. Patriots playing the waiting game hoping that they dont over pay.

If we were keeping Teddy Bridgewater as a backup and he was restructuring, I'd say no. But if Justin Fields or Lance falls to 8, you absolutely take them. Its very hard to find a GREAT talent at QB in this league. How is it that we're talking about teams trading up to take QB's but if one falls to us, we act like we got Aaron Rodgers. The hardest position in this league to get right is QB and healthy competition creates an environment that brings out the best in any athelete. If Justin Fields or Trey Lance are there, you pull the trigger.

Good signing. If we can get a legit pass rush this year, these DBs can be opportunistic.
