If I'm going to draft an inaccurate "physically talented QB," I'm pulling the trigger on Anthony Richardson in the 2nd. They both need development. I'd much rather develop a guy who does all of that stuff better than Will Levis.

I think that there is serious question around why he's being talked about why he's on the same level as CJ and Bryce. He's even being talked about like he's QB NUMBER 1? This team currently has on it's roster two QB's that were drafted 1 and 3... and neither one of them were the answer. Not because they were white... but because they were not good. But they were projected to be better than they were.... While Lamar Jackson was barely drafted in the first round. If there is any franchise that should have learned its lesson from picking overrated white QB's... its THEE CAROLINA PANTHERS. I don't care that he's white. I care that we use a early pick on a QB that wouldnt beat Matt Corral in a QB because the media hyped up another mediocre white dude. We good on that.

My problem with Will Levis is that he keeps being compared to Josh Allen... but his tape is HIS tape. Some of the play calls were questionable... but for all of his arm talent and "traits," he makes bad decisions. He looks alot like... Sam Darnold to me. It's looking like the narrative around CJ Stroud is going to cause him to fall... which I love. (If CJ is there... take him for sure.) But I'd take Will no higher than the second... but would still pass on him to take Penix in the 3rd. And still bet that Matt Corral beat both of them out.

Remember this? Tepper: "I hired him because he's just like me." Think the next coach needs to be nothing like Tepp. Steve Wilks is the guy.

The broncos are trash. But we beat them as if we were a good team. We are still in striking distance for the NFC south, and I’m watching the Super Bowl champions struggle at 3-7. Our offense is one dimensional and we’re bearable. Im just saying that Steve Wilks is a good enough coach that we need to go ahead and kiss those top two quarterbacks goodbye. We’ve won with PJ. The tank is over.

I Definitely think this in part. The other shoe is how impatient the league is with developing its QBs , and how poorly they evaluate college QBs. Any game manager could’ve run out offense today. Sam didn’t need to be special. He just needed to not cost us the game

There’s some irregularly bad football being played this year. Cant tell if it’s bad offense or Good defense… but it’s an interesting year where even good coaches are struggling. Maybe it’s just peril. But tanking for a QB is officially over. Steve Wilks needs to be retained. He’s got these Guys playing winning football.

I actually expect to win 2 games now. Running game will be back in effect. Sam Darnold can find DJ Moore and get out of the pocket when things break down. We can actually win games that way. Get yourselves ready for Myles Murphy or Jalen Carter.

Its a long season fellas and fems. We're a one dimensional offense that doesnt trust it's starting QB to throw more than 20 times a game. We still have needs @ linebacker and corner. But I have to say that I'm happy that we're not totally garbage juice. I will say this... Steve Wilks has these guys buying in. He's going to make it hard for us to look anywhere else. This team is Night and Day... with PJ Walker at QB.

Of that list, The Carolina Panthers have had 5. Cam Newton (1) , Sam Darnold (3), Baker Mayfield (1), Will Grier (100) and Matt Corral (94). I have no idea what that means. But lets get another one.

Its a long season. And there is LOT of bad football being played. We're also seeing the decline of alot of veteran QB's. This looks like a down year for football performance wise and coaching wise. Our best, inspired football can make us mediocre enough to not get better when everyone starts hitting their stride. Gonna be interesting.

If "Overpaid to Underwhelm" was a career

Nothing but hometown pride for this kid and his family. I know the family well and literally watched him grow up. My brother even taught him in high school. His dad holds multiple records at A&T and is a great motivator and mentor to athlete's in this area growing up. Im certainly biased but I'm praying nothing but the best for him. He's league bound.

I understand what you're saying in theory. Here's the problem. We've been trying to find a top tier QB in Free Agency... but they dont want to come here. We've been scrapping the bottom of the barrel for QB's the last year. When we made big offers to Deshaun, we got hosed. This means its time to draft one. New's Flash: We are already a bottom feeder in the league. We're the worst.
