I feel like this is what Gettleman is trying to do -

If all the worthy OTs are taken by #25, I wouldn't be against Gurley in the first and Nelson Agholor or Devin Smith in the 2nd -

Jonathan Stewart's contract situation 2015: $8.3m cap hit (5th highest RB in NFL), $13.6 in dead money if cut ($6.3m if June 1 cut) 2016: $9.5m cap hit (3rd highest RB in NFL), $6.3m in dead money if cut ($3.8m if June 1 cut) 2017: $8.2m cap hit (5th highest RB in NFL), $4.5 in dead money if cut ($2m if June cut) Combine that with what you said. Yeah, teams will definitely be hitting us up for that guy..... -

He contract stinks and he has injury history. We wouldn't get anything note worthy. -

Middle of the pack RBs are certainly "a dime a dozen" but the elite guys, the game changers, are not. Gurley has the ability to be a game changer. It's just a big risk because of his obvious injury concerns. -

I really don't see him on our roster next season, but I hope he stays healthy and succeeds in the league. His combination of power, balance, speed and vision is unreal. -
Not sure how I feel about this to be honest.

NFL.com's top free agents available Some decent names on there that could fall to the third wave.

Sounds fair to me

He also said on day one that'd it would take him multiple years to fix the cap problem. We are almost there guys.

He spent a lot of last season blocking because the OL was so bad. Once we made some changes up front and the OL improved, he was able to get involved in the passing game more often. Which is why we began to notice him more at the end of the season. The team is counting on the improved OL play to continue, and for Dickson to be more of a receiving threat. With that said, he is a backup TE. If he gets 400-500 yards, that is solid. He had several teams calling for his services so don't pretend he has no value.

All the issues with Josh Gordon certainly don't help DGB's case.
-
Do you think he regrets that?
-
Has Goldson been that bad? I mean, to be replaced by Conte says a lot
-
I don't think we'd pass out contracts left and right, but I'd imagine we'd be more aggressive. Big difference between $50mil to spend with your QB locked up and $13 mil with your QB in a contract year.

You can disagree with Gettleman's approach to free agency, but to say he is "destroying" the franchise is such a stupid statement. He's clearly shown the ability to evaluate talent based on his drafts. Let him get the cap under control, which he told everyone would take a few years, and we will be great shape.

We have plenty of time to talk to other players. No need to freak out.
-
None of us have a clue who we've talked to or who we are interested in because the FO doesn't talk to our beat guys. They are clueless.
-
We are five hours into free agency.....

We had crap teams with Hurney and all his drafts picks outside the first round are bagging groceries.
