  1. Could potentially take pressure off Gettleman to reach for an OT in the draft. Positioning the team for BPA.
  2. Voth said it was on a track so scouts are considering it a 4.5
  3. Vertical Jump: 36 1/2" Broad Jump: 10' 7" 32" arms - 9 5/8" hands http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000481537/article/breshad-perriman-of-ucf-uses-fast-40-to-boost-draft-stocker
  4. I don't think people are necessarily comparing him to KB. They just have similar flaws.
  5. I'm on the fence about Perriman. It would definitely depend on who else is available. Him and KB would be an interesting duo.
  6. Also have to keep DGB in mind. A team could take the risk and pick him early allowing Strong or Perriman to drop.
  7. It definitely has an impact. I still think Cooper, White and Parker are the first three WRs taken. But Strong and Perriman could be a toss up now. Heck, both might go before us now.
  8. I brought stats to show you our run defense wasn't as good as you thought. I never said we should go defense with the pick because of it. My point was we shouldn't be looking at exclusively offensive prospects. There's no need to reach for OT or WR if the value isn't there.
  9. Well, he's already a borderline first round pick. If he runs a 4.3 he will obviously secure his spot in the first.
  10. This is why I won't be shocked if we go defense in round one. The top 4 WRs are likely gone, and there will be a run of OL before our pick because everyone always needs OL. Gettleman won't reach for offense just because we struggled there.
  11. He didn't participate in the combine due to hamstring injury but his pro day is tomorrow and he is expected to participate in everything.
  12. Making picks solely on statistics isn't smart. It all depends on who is available when we pick.
  13. That may be true but that doesn't mean our run defense was any good. The defense as a whole took a step back. We saw an improvement at the end of the season but overall it was a step back.
  14. We finished 16th in run defense last season and gave up 4.5 ypc. We could definitely improve.
  15. I think Boston could play FS with him for now. I'm not completely sold on him as the long-term option but his prior experience as a CB and ball-hawking skills make me think he could be a nice compliment at deep safety. For what it's worth, I don't think Collins will be available at #25.
  16. He's pretty big (stocky and muscular) for a safety and is pretty fast as well. Ran a 4.53 at the combine. Great closing speed and can throw a big hit. He has experience playing deep or in the box. His coverage skills are his weak spot but he has the athletic ability to improve there. He'd be a great fit here at SS in my opinion.
  17. Johnny Manziel is expected to be released from his rehab program and begin offseason workouts on.....4/20 http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12547757/johnny-manziel-cleveland-browns-eyes-early-april-rehab-release
