  1. What do you guys think about trading with the Bears at 71 for our 2023 3rd Round pick, 2022 137 4th round pick, and our 2022 199 6th round pick? Have our choice of QB.
  2. There might be a run on these QB's first ten picks of round 3.
  3. Its only two teams in the NFL that need a QB and have a pick in rounds 2 and 3. The other teams that people keep calling to pick a QB (bucs vikes) already spent draft capital in the last year on a QB. there would have been another QB picked if we had a pick in the 2nd or 3rd.
  4. You also gotta look at how many of that position were picked in front of them. Part of the prob is that only three teams really need a QB and a QB would be a "kinda nice" to have for about 4 additional ones and one of them doesn't have a pick on Day 2 (us)
  5. Yea no one taking a QB between now and 58. small chance for Indy but I have a feeling they don't wanna make the pick and piss Ryan off right after trading for him.
  6. lol robby's value is a 6th round pick right now. Do any of you realize just how bad he was last year? Guess which season was the worst of his career? Even his rookie season..
  7. Yeah, even Ikey said it was taking awhile for them to call him while they were on the clock. They were probably fishing for two first or two seconds and a first.
  8. So many OT options... we might be tempted to trade back ruh ro
  9. We would have Tribisky or Mariotta right now on a very team friendly deal and still in the same position. And if he had played good we would have franchise tagged him, we obviously have the cap space.... judging by our $30 mill in cap space right now.
  10. Like, I just can't make it make sense. This team knew Watson was their first choice if he became available in 2022. They had never seen Darnold play. He had been the worst starter in the league to the point his own team had given up on him. I guess giving up a second round pick.. sure you wanna protect that investment... so wouldn't you just use the franchise tag right? That $18 mill could have got us a LG and another piece along with Mariotta or Trubisky to bridge QB play. look at the Giants today. They just declined the 5th year option on Jones and said the franchise tag is still in play, thats amazing motivation and would have been great motivation for Darnold too.
  11. Yeah but we are so fuc king putrid I would rather having the 3 top 100 picks than be 1 or 2 picks out of one blue chip player and nothing else the rest of the draft. We have wholes in run defense at Linebacker and Edge, we have holes on the entire left side of the offensive line and we obviously have holes at QB.
  12. Stong is perfect if we can get him a full year to rehab that knee and learn the playbook.
  13. He said he was dumb in the press conf. Wish someone would make a clip
  14. Didn't someone on reddit say they saw Rhule staying at Harbough's beach house in Southport and that he thought it was because they had a deal in place depending on who drops to 6 lol
  15. Phil Snow is the answer, thats the only thing I can think of.
  16. I like Carson Strong in the 3rd/4th and him on the bench for a year, especially so he can fully rehab his knee and learn behind a vet like Garoppolo.
  17. Almost got Cole Turner for Carson (his TE from Nevada with soft hands) at pick 199 but the Jags snagged him at 198. In this scenario we still go after Garoppolo and Carson gets a years worth of rehab on his knee. This all works out to our favor because Garoppolo will take us out of the sweepstakes next year for a top QB but we have a Carson to take over next year with no rush to get him on the field in 2022.
