  1. How'd I know when I saw this fake poo a few hours ago it would end up on the huddle being taken for fact?
  2. This aint reddit where mods actively peddle propaganda.
  3. Non-story, they asked him when he would know who the starter would be and he said the players would decide that by how they play.
  4. "What movin to Nashville does to a mfer"
  5. Percisely, I am most concerned about his stunting Corral's development by taking reps because "we have to keep Darnold sharp if something happens to Baker" bullshit I keep hearing. I don't want his smooth brain field processing to even get close to Corral.
  6. It's for making money and selling folks on two helmets.
  7. Two things can be true and it certainly appears by all accounts Baker has a serious gaming addiction. Have you watched that man play? He def logs thousands of hours on fps'. Hopefully he treats it as a hobby now. Time will tell. https://www.wkyc.com/article/news/cleveland-browns-qb-baker-mayfield-wanted-to-be-a-professional-gamer/95-176ed643-e715-4746-a73a-3ebc8609d9b1
  8. Imagine paying another team a 6th rounder in 2025 or 7th rounder in 2024 for them to take on Darnold's $18.8 million contract? It would create additional cap space for a multitude of options in 2023 in exchange for a camp fodder 6th or 7th rounder in years to come.
  9. https://walterfootball.com/nflpowerrankings.php He sounds like a Mayfield fanboi but hell, considering all the other doom and gloom here its worth noting some people are optimistic for us now. (when it was zero before)
  10. I can think of a few tens of millions of reasons this is the dumbest poo I've read all month.
  11. This is the wrong take and I see stuff like this a lot on here from other posters too, how do you think 3rd and 4th round players, much less QBs can breakout if not for traits? Dak had the #1 pocket presence in his draft despite being the 8th or so QB drafted, ended up that trait translating, it's something he also has in common with Matt Corral. Matt Corral also has other traits that remind you of elite passers. No one is saying that he will put it altogether but that's why he IS drafted in the third round, also there were two vet QB's available and no NFL team felt rushed to get all pretty similar prospects in so far as question marks.
  12. Vanderbilt is already there and they are a spec of the size of Duke.
  13. I've had Matt as my QB1 from the jump. I'm a big trait person and while his 2021 season was difficult due to injuries and the only players worth a crap on his team leaving he still looked like a top-5 pick in the 2020 bama game. There are great 2021 film on him too, its just he plays a lot of hero ball with his garbage team.
  14. Give him an NFL training program and 5 pounds of muscle and more arm strength, if he is able to pick up an NFL playbook is the only question I have about him. I think if he can learn the playbook in time he could be dangerous but that playbook is a big hurdle to climb.
  15. Yeah yeah covid, IDGAF, look at this guy against Bama in 2020 and tell me you don't see traits from the greats. Remember, he lost most of his best players after 2020, he was the only player on their 2021 squad worth a damn. The escapability, the pocket presence, the quick twitch throws. Its all on showcase in this game against first rounders and top 5 picks, and we got this guy in the third round. Boys and girls, I sure hope we are drafting Will Anderson next year or leaving the playoffs with a rookie that looked more like Justin Herbert than JaMarcus Russell.
  16. Yep, sometimes you just have to accept a person can be physically gifted and just doesn't have the mental capacity or intangibles to be successful in the NFL. He would be All-World in the CFL or arena football tho.
  17. Also, when comparing the situation to Dak's in Dallas (who was 7th QB selected in that draft and the only one still with his original team) we see that while Dak was inconsistent with his passing coming out of Mississippi state, what he wasn't inconsistent with was his navigation of the pocket. Of all the QB's in that draft, Dak was the best at navigating the pocket. This breakdown of Corral navigating his own collapsing pocket should give you goosebumps compared to the shitfest we had with Darnold last season. Edit: Meanwhile Kenny Pickett has terrible pocket presence: Guess we'll see just how accurate indicative of success pocket presence has in evaluation this year. Lets see if it cements the observation that we saw in the Dak Prescott draft, where the only QB with good pocket presence saw success in the NFL.
  18. He has all the tools, just like Darnold has all the tools but doesn't have the grey matter that means the most between his ears, people forget how much of the game is mental. No one gave Cam a chance to grasp an NFL offenses by the start of that 2011 season coming from Zone Read in college but he did. I think Matt Corral can grasp it too but it all depends on training camp. If he can grasp the offense and just take care of the ball we could be looking at Dak Prescott/Russel Wilson kind of late rounder rookie QB season.
  19. $4 Jake, $5 89, $1 Stephen Davis, $1 Curtis Samuel, $4 Wesley Walls.
  20. Last year Kittle and Kelse were out and about on Broadway in Nashville poppin bottles with the common folk. You could probably run into 'em again this weekend, they go pretty hard.
