This is the same guy that moved from New Jersey to Florida and ruined New Jersey's budget because they thought they could squeeze a few more cents out of him. fug with Tepper's money at your own peril.

I know I'm late but aside from Houston all of these teams actually have competent offenses or goat coaches. Can you imagine if we get an a great rookie QB next season or Corral balls out but we get on defense and never are able to stop anyone cause yall armchair generals got rid of the only passrusher the other team had to gameplan around. They def don't run rollouts to Burns side.

Probability Analysis of the Burns and DJ decision

I've been saying the whole time that one or two more picks in the top 50 would have got it done. Its not about not trading them, its about value. -
@Mr. Scot check this out

Shane Steichen should be the start of every conversation right now, look what he did with Herbert and Hurts. Dude is a playcalling stud and knows what a franchise qb looks like. -
Hooker is garbage, old and holds onto the ball for WAYY too long lmao and misses wide open WR's. Have you guys seen K.J. Jefferson? Dude tries to play like Cam and even wears Cam's number.

Outside of Bryce Young, and even he has size problems, none of these QB's look like they are separating themselves from one another. Now, I don't think that's bad for us. If we don't have a shot at Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud, I would like to see us take Will Anderson, pair him up with Burns because pretty much all the other QB's are a big gamble rn and we already have Corral on the roster. Now here is where it gets interesting, because outside of the top 2 prospects a lot of the rookie QB's look like good upside guys with huge red flags. I say use our 2nd's as ammo for the back half of the 1st round if guys start falling or you can even sit back and wait to see who goes first if you don't believe that much in Will Levis. Our defense gets jolts to our LoS run defense and Pass Rush which are both in need of help, this would also help at our corner positions indirectly. On offense, if we end up at say pick #3 or something our new HC (I'm fully aboard the Shane Steichen train, look what he did with Hurbert and Hurts, so he knows what to look for) might have his eye on someone like K.J. Jefferson who models himself after Cam: Or maybe Levis slides to 17 and that's enough ammo to package for our 2 2nd's to move up? I guess the point here is, there is a shitload of great QB's this draft with question marks, if we end up looking at Levis or Will Anderson, I say take the sure thing in Anderson and lets get one of these lotto tickets.

We need a HC/OC, TE, WR2, QB, LG, MLB, and a damn DE to pair with Burns then we can think about competing. Def not happening by next year with our salary cap. Tremble ain't it, YGM can kick rocks, Burns needs help on the other side, this dumbass gamble on Haynes and YGM was a huge fail. we still don't understand as an offense how to convert on third down. You cant run stick routes every third down and not see it coming. -

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
thunderraiden replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
You don't give up a DE on a rookie deal for peanuts (and 2 first rounders is peanuts) for the potential Burns still has at a position of importance to winning the division and Super Bowl. I want 3 first round picks AND 2 promising young players at a position other than RB or 2 2nd's and I MIGHT consider it. -
If there was some way to have Wilks as the DC and the OC from the Eagles, Shane Steichen, as the Head Coach and playcaller we would be set for a couple years until Wilks gets another HC gig.

i dont think the other team scoring 17 always winning was just a Rhule thing. This team just has the worst offensive minds in the league. Wilks is a great D. Coord but he also started Rosen for a season, he doesn't know what a good QB is. -

We're a QB away from contending. Edit: and playcaller -
8 of our 10 remaining games are winnable.
thunderraiden replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agreed with you, but now were here, hey look regardless, nothing bad is going to come from a team with no QB making it to the playoffs. Yeah we won't get our pick of QB but there will be a poo ton of great QB's this draft available in the middle of the first. -
This is how we get back at them for winning the Greg Little trade? Lol.

There are so many prospects that look like r1 picks most years but there are just sooo many this year you're better off waiting and getting one of these beast in the middle of the first or in the 2nd. Bryce Young, Stroud, Greyson McCall, Levis, Hooker, they all look like killers but they all have standard bust factor. -
Broncos @ Home Steelers @ Home (maybe not an advantage there at all unless we are on fire before then) Lions @ Home Falcons x2 Bucs post-mid-season-Brady retirement Saints Yes we will get torched by the Bengals and Ravens but outside of that the rest of these are a toss up if our run game is humming and we are running a Play Action based gameplan with one of these charity cases QB's.
