With most of everything done for the upcoming FA only one more elephant in the room remains. Brian Burns contract extension. Everything this previous season, where we turned down 2 first round picks in order to retain Burns, and this offseason (shipping DJ Moore instead of BB) Indicates he is about to sign a massive contract extension sooner rather than later. There don't remain many roster moves needed prior to free agency, such as a potential Pat Elflein's cut (creates $2.8M in cap space), and a potential D-Jax restructure (creates $9.5M! in cap space), Brian Burns extension remains the next most impactful (potentially $5M to $7M in cap savings) in terms of creating space before free agency starts. What do you guys think BB's contract is going to be?

Panthers Offense Rebuilt.

Hopefully they just mean that they will select Bryce Young for Texans for another couple picks and they can take Stroud at #2.

He's also not eligible for a restructure folks. He needs to be extended and void years added or he has to get cut, there is no other path for him as his cap hit is untenable as it stands.

Lol, if there is one thing I've heard for the last decade plus about the saints its this bullshit every offseason and ppl still dont take the time to understand how the cap works.
-
Falcons go and get Lamar next and then we are left holding the bag.
-
Lol there are def ppl with sources, the diff between a coaching search and the draft is there are about 30 to 40 more ppl involved with one over the other. There are some mock drafters that are consistently right about our picks so its not absurd.

Cost to get #1 pick from #9: 3 first Cost to get #3 pick: 2 2nd's and our first this year and prob a little more. but no first round pick Cost to get #1 pick from #3 pick: 1 first and #3 pick No one is talking about this, getting the #3 pick gets us the most leverage, even if Chicago wants to play hardball we can tell them to kick rocks we'll take any of the top 3.
-
You dont even have to be lockdd in on top 3 if you get the #3 pick early, you get so much leverage over chicago by getting the #3 pick that you can #1 pick for cheaper than #9 to # 1

From everything I'm hearing from the Players Only broadcast, they have a bunch of biased folks that absolutely hate the draft becasue of they got shafted poo talking players to justify people spending $5 a month in the offseason on a worthless app in the offseason.
-
Probably tried to show off and didn't work out as planned, Josh Allen gave the WR a full beat before dropping in his combine go route drill.
-
Waste of paying all these coaches if they can't work with any of the QBs in the top 3 and would be a huge red flag. I would have agreed if there was a massive cliff after the combine but its a hell of a lot easier to get the #1 pick if we go into the draft with the #3 pick too if that really is their modus operandi.

I want to hear the Panthers traded for the #3 pick in the next few days. CJ Stroud Anthony Richardson Bryce Young All 3 run the NFC South Year 1.
-
fug it, with this staff you better be able to develop WHOEVER falls to #3 or this "superstar" coaching staff aint poo. There are 3 QBs in this draft that automatically walk in as the best QB in our division out of college and a possible 4th out of Kentucky.

I think you try to trade up to #3 before you even leave Indy while you got Arizona there, there is no way to lose at #3.
