Just to note, Shaq, Thomas, Dalton, Corbett are all gone next season and do not have active contracts. They have shitty "void" years we will be dealing with for awhile tho.
-
Yeah, extend it is. I would love a team friendly extension, keep the O-line intact while you build up the D-line and don't get fancy. Solid. Bring back Mayes or draft his brother at C. Next up.... Thielen and Clowney...
-
So this is our currently salary cap situation if we keep Moton (I have pre-emptively cut Miles and Dane Jackson FYI) as is next year: And then this is our salary cap if we cut all the oldies including Moton: We can get another 8-9 mill from extending Horn. We could also sign Moton to an extension, but is that wise? So what say you? Go all in on our young core and get young replacements with the cap space or keep rolling with the old guys like Moton? The only UFA's im even pressed to bring back is BC (especially if you use your out on Moton) and Mike Jackson.

Just put this together, only thing not pictured is I cut Dane Jackson too. Also, none of the retained players have guesses at their salary aside from league minimum but I consider them all FA pieces with high probability of being retained, but honestly anyone close to 30 can be easily replaced with a younger cheaper option such as Woods or Scott. I think Moton and Thielen are valuable, just not at their price tag, I would love to have both back at rightsized deals, even Moton, who could retire a Panther with a team friendly extension wouldn't be bad. Also we could save a lot of money extending Jaycee Horn as well which is not pictured:

Limitations in the red zone? You mean the all rookie catchers? or the geriatric option AT? He would have hit JT Sanders (but he was injured by that point) on the seam for a Touchdown but he had a player there that wouldn't make any other professional roster just completely whiff a well placed ball at the end of the second qtr.

Just want to note that there were a lot of "oh its the panthers I'm not going to go, they look better sure but its the panthers" before the chiefs game. I said it then and I'll say it now, you're the change you want to see. Do I think it really would have swung the game to our favor? No. but do I think its fuging horse poo this team goes on a two game win streak and we cant be the change we want to see, we as fans aren't holding up our end of the bargain. If you had a chance to go to the game today and didn't and a stinking Chiefs fan took your place, shame on you.

You didnt get excited when your young ass team tied against the 9-1 defending champs? Holy poo dude.
-
DRAFT DEFENSE. (And TE)
-
HOLY poo the fuging refs are working over time for KC. HOLY fuging poo
-
Fix the d-line, te2 and 3, and a DB next offseason and we're cooking with grease.
-
Bryce haters are gonna be: A.) Absent today. and/or B.) Pretended like they never talked poo at all.
-
Corbett is not on the roster next season and BC is an amazing asset to hold on to.
-
It doesnt matter where we pick outside of the wildcard with the stacked edge rusher class. As long as we get one of Graham, Scourton, Mykel Williams, or Abdul Carter we are gonna make a huge improvement on the d-line next year with a healthy Derrick Brown and Wonnum.
-
I haven't heard that but that's great, we could draft Mason Graham or Kenneth Grant and get a huge upgrade over Shy Tuttle without them having to add any weight.
-
This, my guy has not had a true NT for over 2 seasons now... like how tf can you reasonably stop the run with Shy fuging Tuttle at NT? Lets not even get started on the edge rushers or the D-line depth. edit: or CB2

They say guys like Stroud ruin it for everyone else but the playcalling is just night and day, the Texans aren't making Stroud win them the game on 3rd and 10 5 or 6 times a game, they are legit running it sometimes on those downs and distance to protect their QB and put him in winning situations. We finally start putting our QB in winning situations from Week 3 onward and people still want to poo on the guy because our run game is unstoppable and we shouldn't have even been throwing at much as we did if Brooks was healthy.
-
Exactly, another hogmollie on the D-line and a stud edge rusher is what we need, doesn't really matter what part at the top of the first we take one of those, just needs to hit.
-
As long as Mile Sanders, David Moore, and Ian Thomas (and even Ickey sometimes) touches the fields, we will continue to have stalled drives.
-
Hey Mr. Scot. You cannot embed x.com links, you have to change it to say twitter.com and leave everything else the same, it will auto convert and the embedder will then takeover.
-
Bro give him a year to do to the front 7 what he did with the O-line. Offense just needs to find replacements for Sanders (already on the roster in Brooks), another TE1 to pair with JT Sanders, and one more dawg at WR and they are cooking next year on O, especially with another year under their belt in the same O. Defense just needs a true NT and better Edge play and they are gonna be solid next year too as long as Tevin continues to progress.

I just realized why he didn't name him the starter, he probably wants to tell Andy that Bryce is the starter on Monday instead of a fuging presser hahaha. Its so obvious now.
