Let’s not overreact to a preseason game where the opposition defense had about half its starters in the game. Until we see what he does against an aggressive defense in regular season we have no idea. My bet is he is somewhat the same as he was in New York….once a QB starts seeing ghosts under pressure it’s hard to get that out of their mind.

At which time the patriots will scoop him up and be a contender again.... And because he is a Patriot everyone in the media will love him.

Gonna be some upset people around here once we see just how average, at best, Darnold is.

Bottom 10 seems about right.

He’s average at best at this stage. So far I’m not impressed with the 2 Qb’s he’s sought. I’m not convinced Darnold will be much better than ole Teddy.

Love Luke and don’t care one bit that he is wearing that gear. I for one feel like a few others , Rhule was a mistake hire, but so far Tepper has made zero moves that impress many people.

Anyone that expected more that .500 football was not being realistic anyway. We have no idea how good or bad this team will be and Darnold is the biggest question mark of all.

Until he is in a real game against a good defense we don’t know. Practice tells us almost Nothing.

I wanted Fields, but I’m torn on whether he will be anything more than a little above average. I didn’t want Darnold, but we got him. Hopefully he turns out, but I’m skeptical.

Not true. Locally my wife and I know 7 people that are currently infected, all 7 were double poked. 2, a couple were hospitalized, the husband passed away last Monday, he was 51 and fit. I know zero unvaccinated people at the moment that are infected with the virus. A 42 year old woman is also one of the 7 that is also in the hospital, in icu, has been for almost 2 weeks. That’s damn near 50% of the 7 people. The media and CDC are lying to us about how ineffective this vaccine is because if the truth comes out people that have been vaccinated will freak out and those that are unvaccinated will most certainly not even consider taking it.

Effective ? Have you not been paying attention this past week? They are now admitting the vaccinated getting infected as much as the unvaccinated. It is not a vaccine if it doesn’t prevent a disease, it’s just a shot, like the flu shot. It may or may not work.

I agree. I think it’s just people are envious of teams like that, they juat win year after year.
