I do think he can be a good QB in this league, but our expectations need to be tampered for a while. He was clearly not #1 caliber IMO. That's on our GM and scouting dept, not Bryce. This team needs serious help around him. It's just time to adjust just expectations of him.

It's honestly not Bryce fault he was picked 1st. It's the fault of our scouting dept, Gm, etc. They are the ones that need to take the fall. If Bryce can potentially turn into a solid NFL QB then we need to at least set him up for success and give it a chance. I'm not sure what other option we have at this point. Not saying it doesn't suck though. I was always a Stroud guy. It's going to be rough for a while it appears.

The verdict is out but it's not looking like he'll justify going #1. If we would have picked him in the 2nd round people would say he's pretty good and got potential but he's a rookie on a very bad team. I feel like he's a victim of his draft position at the moment.

He is holding onto the ball too long tho. He keeps trying to make a play when he just needs to throw it away asap if it's not there. It doesn't help we have no one who can stretch the field or create real separation, get yac, etc.

We can but it will take years. Just don't look to the Panthers for your happiness anytime soon. I would advise to get into fantasy football. It keeps me emotionally invested in the season despite pulling for this putrid franchise

If he has time to bulk up a bit and get some help on offense it would help his odds. It doesn't seem like that was part of the long term plan when selecting him. I just don't see how we thought he could come in and play day 1 and survive on this team in its current poo state. I'm far from an expert but that much should have been obvious. It just seems like there's something majorly amiss with this franchise.

I don't disagree. BY seems like a good kid, but he just doesn't pass the eye test. I hope I'm wrong. I love the panthers and have pulled for them since I was a kid in the 90s. Its hard to watch this chit.

I think BY isn't ready either. He needs to bulk up some and get acclimated to the NFL. I honestly think he should sit the season out. It's def not gonna hurt him. He looked like a child out there the first 2 games. Either way I sorta feel like this experiment is gonna fail, so I'm not sure it matters.

All I know is ever since he's been owner we've been complete chit. He reminds me of every financial CEO that's existed. He thinks he knows everything about everything. Complete pompous prick. The reality is he clearly knows nothing about football. Worst thing to ever happen to the Panthers.

I feel like at this point we've made our choice and we have to go with it and be patient. He needs a couple years to bulk up and learn the NFL. We need to focus a lot on OL, RB and WR over the coming years. It also wouldn't hurt to get a huge TE who can be a safety blanket. Let's be honest, our offense is a complete joke talent wise. We have a bunch back up WRs and also ran RBs. Personally I think Bryce clearly has potential but it could easily be squashed. Anyone who thought a 5'10 toothpick was going to come into the NFL and dominate day 1 was Stoopid. He wasn't that kinda prospect despite going #1.

The prob is we pushed for QB this year instead of just being patient. Stroud and AR may end up being better but that's not saying much.
