    Which would surprise no one that the NFL refs would do eyeball test. However, if the report that they planned to check Patriots balls at halftime before the game even started is true, I'd hope they were smart enough to log all measurements made that day. So I'm sure there is no record log.

    I would have hoped the NFL would have squashed this thing right away if this would have been the case. Colts measured legal but showed same rate of psi lost as the Patriots balls that measured below NFL standards. I think the NFL would have been happy to end this right away if that was the case.

    Don't the teams give the refstheir ball first? Thought it was teams give refs their footballs, refs check them then hold until game time, and then give back to team. Wouldn't Rodgers overenflate happen before given to ref and hoping that ref misses one.
