The draft-pick compensation is where it gets trickier, especially considering Saints general manager Mickey Loomis will want more from a division rival. Further complicating things is the fact that the Panthers want to hold on to their No. 9 pick this year, so they can potentially pair Payton with a top-10 quarterback. With that said, the Panthers’ offer is: This year’s second-round pick (originally the 49ers’), next year’s first-round pick, and as an incentive, next year’s third if the Panthers reach the NFC championship game in Payton’s first season. Tepper also might be willing to throw some cash at the Saints (as the Bucs did in trading for the Raiders’ Jon Gruden) as a final sweetener. — Joe Person This was posted from an Athletic article about what Payton packages might be. I don't think this is bad at all.

Per Ian now ALL interviews are on hold that were supposed to be this weekend. I have no issue with this.

This is a classy move and the right one with the death of Anton.

Ben Johnson could smell that the training was not completed all the way in Detroit and said “you disgust me” and turned around the moment he got to Wayne County airport.

I’m sorry that they didn’t pay the intern enough to do the online videos like most other owners probably did.

My biggest take away from that clip is how Tom shoots down “Dave will throw everything and is desperate” take down from the get go. I don’t think we as an organization will be desperate like a number of negative Nancy’s around here think.

I’m not gonna be heart broken if Payton goes to Denver but here is something that interest me. Russell Wilson does well outside of structure while Payton seems to run a structured offense…wasnt Wilson in structure this year 90% of his problem?!

A number of people are bringing up that this is Denver strumming up stuff to get the Panthers to just bow out.

Figured this was the case…wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the highest paid coordinator in the NFL .

Possible London game next year at Titans
Panthercougar68 replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
We probably won’t be pulled to London, we are looking at Germany 2024.
