    Don’t get me wrong I completely agree and wish we had the window that they did. I think my biggest question is why are they doing it with this team? I’m of the opinion that the Saints have been on the downtrend it should have blown it up earlier and embrace the few years of suck but I get trying to make it work keeping your job as a coach and the front office person.

    Problem I think people are seeing is that at some point the Saints team needs a reset and when it’s NEEDED, how much of a hinderance will it be. I guess we’ll see when/if it gets to that point.

    But isn’t the issue the saints run into us at some point these contracts are gonna be on the books for players who have not been on the team for 2 to 3 years. Demario Davis, Cam Jordan, Carr Etc etc are exactly spring chickens

    I think the crux of the issue is that Caleb has a great arm and can make throws but he’s starting to get the film on him (the classic next years class is better analysis) and people are catching on that he holds on to the ball too damn long and will take sacks to avoid an incompletion. Generational talent gets thrown around too much.

    Saints don’t have the same oline they did week 2 and could run the ball better.

    So here is the thing, offenses are down overall in the league and there’s a lot of chatter that it’s not that defenses are locking things down but the lack of practices and college talent has kinda hit a wall. It’s kinda bad season across the board because the biggest story so far isn’t Miami doing great things but Taylor freaking Swift banging a TE that just plays backyard football.
